I saw this somewhere and just fell in love with it.
 
 Take me back to the days we spent together,
-- Back to when we were the best of friends.
We knew that nothing would last forever.
That all great things would come to an end.
 
Take me back to that old abandoned house.
-- Back to when we would sit there for hours,
We layed on our backs and starred at the stars,
Pointing out the ones that looked like flowers.
 
Take me back to when we shared out secrets,
-- Back to when we could trust each other.
We were crazy, but we had no regrets.
Now they pile up, one after another.
 
I sit here and wonder, why’d I ever let you go?

I gaze up at the stars and there I see
I see everything that we could have been
I sit there and wonder “do you miss me”
Now, all I can think is ‘remember when?’  
All those great times and laughs that we shared
I didnt know who you were anymore
To loose you completely just couldnt be bared
Its just that without you my life would be a bore
  The only thing left to say is “sorry”
I used to see the sadness in your eyes
I listened, and you told me not to worry
I knew something was wrong, just didnt realize  
You couldn't take anymore, you wanted to die.
The worst thing is, I never got to say goodbye.  

I live the same nightmare everyday.
