The Story Of A Teenage Girl
Part 2

       Class was over, finally now off to second period with one of my good friends and most likely the smartest kid in school, Michael. "Mike, please tell me you're having a good day?" I said in a slightly melodramatic tone.
  Mike said  "Actually I am. You know the girl that I like?!?"
"Of course, you never stop talking about her."
     "Well, we're going on a date friday night!"
"Congrats! You guys would make such a cute couple."
      "Thanks, Nicole I can always count on you to cheer me up and always be happy for me!"
"What kind of friend would i be if i wasn't?"
      "So true, and you don't look so happy today. What's wrong?"
Starting to tear up I said, "I just don't understand Mike, what did I do to them that they would treat me this way. Talk behind my back and make it seem like I'm the bad guy?"
            Doing the best guy friend thing, he brings me in for a hug and lets me cry it out. "Nicole, calm down, everything will be alright. They are just mean people that do not care about other people and their feelings. Atleast you still have Tiana and Sammy, they would never do anything bad."

-------"Class take your seats already, the bell rang 5 minutes ago! No more chatting and let's get to work." The teacher said in an agitated tone. So for the rest of the class Mike and I passed notes back and forth while the teacher wasn't looking.-------

     "That's true, it's just hard for me to trust people sometimes. yah know?"
"Yes that's true and so at that sweet 16 the other night, I heard a certain someone danced with Nate?!"
  With total and complete joy I wrote on the page with huge handwriting "OMG! Yess I did and I totally forgot to text you about it when I got home. He literally came up to me and said 'Hey Nicole, you look kinda lonely. Let's go dance.' So we slow danced for almost the whole song and then we sat down."
"Good, so do you think that he might like you?"
  "Maybe but you never know with him, he's very much a flirt. Do you think you could talk to him one day and ask him about me? Maybe you'll find out some important information."
"Sure of course I can. And then maybe we go on a double date friday!" Mike wrote. As i read this the bell rang. So I said to Mike....
"Yes sounds like a plan. Well i probably should go off to next period, math with the worst teacher ever! See yah!"
    As I walk through the hall, I see him. He's walking with his friends, being his cute adorable self and then he looks around and spots me. My heart skips a beat and pure joy that he, Nate, looked at me in the hallway. He smiles and does that "sup" nood, the thing that guys do and i waved back. I was hoping to not run into Brittany and Sommer in the hall, but of course I did and quickly looked away so not to make long eye contact. "I hate them so much," I thought to myself. Sommer literally would control Brittany and she doesn't even know it! That B*tch would walk out of the room the second I walked in. She lied to Brittany so badly that she wouldn't talk to me for a week! They would beat me down on online chat rooms, through texts, and even they would 3-way call me to try and see if I would say something bad about the other one.

          As she walked down the hall, she felt the stares. The stares from her previous friends, the ones that destroyed many of her friendships and her social life. The girls that she thought were her friends.
          "Stay strong" she says to herself. "Walk by and don't pay attention. Walk straight to class, go!"
           She got to her first period class and sat down, thankfully her true friends were there and she could stay in comfort. Knowing that in 5 minutes that girl will be sitting down right next to her and that she'll have to pretend that everything is fine.
           "Why? Why me?" she will never know that answer and what makes her so upset that her friends never noticed what was going on behind their backs. They just believed her and never thought anything of it. Especially the one she was friends with since the second grade, the girl that she dropped other girls for because they hurt her. She's still doesn't understand why she wouldn't believe her.  One day, she hopes they will know everything and how badly that girl and her quote on quote little minion.
