I've always been realllly bad at writing these things, but here I go!
My name is Kathleen, but most people call be Katie.
I am 16 years old and a junior in highschool.
My birthday is december 22nd (any twins?).
I am from New York and I've lived here my whole life.
Yes, I have been depressed.Yes, I have gone through rough times.
Yes, I have contemplated suicide.
And Yes, I have gotten through it.
I don't know who you are, or what your story is,
but I want you to know that
IT GETS BETTER.
Anyone that tells you otherwise is just trying to put you down.
There is a little thing in this crazy world,
its called hope.
It's powerful. It's stronger than fear.
It's what helps me, and so many others, get through each day.
