we athletes dont always love our sports. most of the time we hate it. but we know that in the end the 10 extra push ups and the extra sprint were really worth it. we feel good when we score that game winning goal, or the winning free throw. we know that the all the time that we put in is really worth it. that the scrapes and bruses on our elbows and knees are our new battle scars. the gatorade we drink, the uniforms we wear and our new family are now a part of us. we hate but appreciate our coaches who make us what we are. we are one, we are team. we are athletes. who will kick your butt!
