So the other day, my dad was telling me a story. This is how it goes:

My dad is a teacher. And when he drives to his school, he passes by a cemetary. Well, every day, this one man is always standing at this one grave. Every day. Well, after farther research, my dad found out that this man has been standing at his wife's grave every single day my dad has gone to work.

My dad has worked at that school for 12 years.

Sam: It's like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger they were. And sometimes you didn't want to know the end. Because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, its only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines, it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you. That meant something, even if you were too small to understand why. Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back... only they didn't. They kept going. Because they were holding on to something.

Frodo: What were they holding onto, Sam?

Sam: That there's some good in this world, Mr. Frodo... and it's worth fighting for.

Tangled is teaching me the hard truth

  Rapunzel: I... I think he likes me.

Mother Gothel: Likes you?! Please, Rapunzel, that's demented!

This is what each teen said when they were asked "What you would say to someone who is being bullied or is considering suicide?"

  Rachel: This is so cliché, but it really does get better.

Isaac: You just gotta keep your head up.

Madison: Stay strong, its ok. I know it seems like its the end of the world. Katy Perry says in that song, "after a hurricane, there's always a rainbow."

Victor: Honestly, you can get through it. When it comes down to it, you're in charge of who you are and what you do, not them.

Lia: You need to tell someone if you are feeling that way. Everyone goes through this... and I mean, everyone goes through bullying so don't feel like you're the only one out there.

Rumor: Set a goal and make it a long-term goal or something that you're looking forward to. Cause there are so many beautiful moments in life.

Tom: This is just a tiny period in your life and you have so much to life for, its amazing. If I let that bully get ahold of me, then I wouldn't be 3,000 miles across the country... filming with The Fine Brothers on Teens React! Believe in yourself and everything will go fine.

Adam: Suicide is not the answer. Cause, even if you feel like there's nothing for you to live for anymore, there always is... It'll be okay.

 

After marching in a parade for band:

One of the girls is talking to another girl who just
made fun of some kid.
 

Some girl: Wow, you're really mean!

Other girl: I'm not mean! I'm just my own level of nice...
