[hopelesslyinlove6] – Preface
Aaron's POV

"Dude come on get in the car," One guy slurred as he hopped in the front seat. It was 2am after a huge party and my friends and I were driving home. We figured, even though we were drunk, it was okay to drive because who the hell is out at this time? We all packed into the car and drove off. My buddy Zack was driving and kept swerving on the road, still no one in sight. "Seriously, let me drive." Since I was the most sobered guy in the car, I thought I could get us out of this. "Aaron, there's nn-no one on the road," He slurred some more. I slumped down in the passenger seat. Zack, turned around to face the guys to say something stupid when a small black car slides into view, the lights lighting up the road and the front window, shining into the car. That was the last thing I saw. The car, having no time to stop rammed right into the front of the car. Zack was blasted out of the car as it spun in a circle down the street. I felt my body fly backwards and I heard a crack when my head hit the back window. The black car loomed for a moment, slowly glancing at the damage before speeding off. My drunk friends in the back managed to somewhat survive and the called the ambulance. The fuzzy blur of flashing lights and the strict faces of the paramedics swirled my vision as I slowly regained consciousness. The paramedics were hovering over my body as they examined my critical condition.
"I think we have him," One of the paramedics shouted. The other boys sped off in another ambulance. They were all in critical condition. Was I going to die? The pictures of life around me faded slowly, and then, just like that, I was gone. "We lost him!" A paramedic shouted, and the police sped over to my house, to tell my family.
