You're probably aware that it doesn't rhyme most of the time but a melody will erase that unconventionality. The lyrics are strong and really relatable :)

how do you put melodies to your songs? like notate it?

I usually start with a melody and write lyrics for it, doing it the ther way is hard for me. But I usually notate by hand using staff paper...hours at the piano with a pencil just plunking things out in different keys.
