I REALLY need your advice.. boy stuff.

OK SO: There's this kid and I met him on 8/14 in NYC.  He's 1 year older then me & he's going into his freshman year of HS.  He went out with one of my friends that I just so happened to meet in New York.  They broke up 1 week after they got back home because he didn't believe in long distance relationships.  So on 9/1 the boy texted me and he confessed and said he liked me and he was saying the SWEETEST things to me.. so with my luck I went in and I told him "I love you" and he told me he loves me back. But, today I told my best friend about this situation and she said that he's just playing games with me because were not even going out.  And, he called me for the first time today saying "if you didn't live 130 miles away from me I would definitly date you" && he texted me saying goodnight I love you"
