Chapter
Two
“Wow, it’s so nice out
tonight.” I said as we sat down at our table. It really
was. The sun was about to go down, right over the lake. The
different colors displayed over the water, the reflection of the
pine trees from the shore. It really was perfect. Soon the sun
would go all the way down, and the string of lights around the
deck will turn on. The candles will be lit, and everything will
be right. And people wonder why this is my favorite place.
“It sure is Meghan.” Aaron said pulling my seat out
for me to sit down. I ran my hands over my but, so my dress
wouldn’t get wrinkled when I sat down. I ordered the
Chicken Parmesan, as usual, and Aaron ordered a cheeseburger, and
usual. Things were going great. Nothing new, our dates were
always great. We laughed the whole time, his laugh, infectious as
ever. His Black T-shirt, and faded jeans looked absolutely
amazing. Many people have said we looked good together. I kind of
saw it too. I guess you could say, I am kind of pretty,
with my mid-back long hair & light blue eyes, and Aaron, with
his dirty blond hair, handsome blue-green eyes, and that gorgeous
voice of his that made all the girls jealous, that I had him, and
they didn’t. That sounds good, I have him, he has me,
that’s all that matter.

Chapter
One
I ran my fingers through my long chestnut
hair as I waited in Aaron’s driveway. He claimed he just
had to run into his house real quick to get a CD. But it’s
been more 5 minutes, and I was growing restless in the front
seat of his car. Getting out of the car, I smelled the freshly
cut grass. Oh how I loved spring. Perfect weather for the
restaurant down by the lake. Sitting down on the dock, with the
lake in full view. Which is where we’re supposed to be
going, if only Aaron wasn't taking forever. I marched into
his house with full intentions to get him outside as soon as
possible to make it to our reservations. I walked through
the door, into the big foyer, up the stairs into his bedroom.
I knew this path all too well. Up to his room. We have been
dating for over a year, almost 2 years even, so of course I
knew. There he was pulling everything off its shelves,
looking for the CD. “Come on honey, were going to be
late.” I said pulling on his arm, much like a little kid
with their parents. “But Meghan, I have to find it.”
He said, looking on top of his dresser. This is typical Aaron,
losing everything, and then waiting last minute to find it.
“I’ll help you find it later, I want to go.” I
said, watching him pulling at his shirt, nervous that he’ll
never find it. “Fine, let’s go.” He said
grabbing my hand, wrapping his fingers around mine, in a way that
only he could do. He leaned in a kissed my forehead, before
walking out the door, and down the stairs to his car. Aaron,
disorganized, couldn’t catch a football for the life of
him, master of lame jokes, musician. He played the guitar and
sang, in such a way that made me fall in love with him. He was
such a looser, but man, did I love him.

Update on My Life As
Bella:
So, I am thinking of stopping
my story, My Life As Bella.
I think I kept without writing for to long that people may have
lost interest.
So I might stop writing it, unless people really want me to
continue it. Then I know people haven't lost
interest(:
And I will eventually make a new story when something comes to
me. And I already have a few ideas.
Sorry for keeping everyone waiting, I haven't had a had
a new chapter in almost a month! I have been busy but things
are now clearing up, so I should be able to start writing
again!
Also if you haven't read my story, go ahead and check it
out!! It's not very long at all!
Thanks for reading
everyone(:
My Life As
Bella
Chapter Eight
The next day went by
fast. Wake up, school, home, mom. Mom.
When I got home from school I went straight to her room. She
wasn’t there though. Where was she? Then I heard her
crying. I don’t know where she was. But I heard her. I
thought it was coming from the bathroom, so I opened the door.
There she was, sitting on the floor, holding another positive
pregnancy test, crying. “Awe, mom what’s
wrong?” I said in a soothing voice while getting down on
the floor with her. “Nothing in my life is going
right. I don’t want to be like this. But, I don’t
know. After your father died, I just lost control. I would be so
lost without you.” She said, with her voice cracking
by the time she got to the end. So she did notice all the hard
work I do. “Mom, we’ll get through this okay?
I’ll help you. But you have to stop smoking, and drinking,
for the sake of this baby. I’ll be with you, mom, every
step of the way, but you have to make an effort as well.” I
said. I do want to help her. I really do. “Okay I will try.
I promise. And thank you. For everything.” She said, with
thankful, teary, eyes. “I’ll go make an appointment
for the doctor’s right now. Okay mom?” I
said getting up off the floor. Then without saying anything, she
got up off the floor too, and gave me a hug. I knew that she was
thankful. And maybe, just maybe, this was the start of something
new.
My Life As

Chapter Six
___________________________________________________________________________
I drove to the bar as fast as I could, the only thing I could
think about is my mom bring pregnant. It was raining, hard. And
when I got there, mom was standing outside. Smoking. I parked the
car and got out. “Mom put that cigarette down.
Now.” I said to my mother. “Why is my mother
outside?” I asked the same bouncer that let me in the bar
earlier. “She got too drunk miss. Got to loud, causing
problems I suppose. The bartender and the owner sent her
out.” He said. He was big and bulky, the type of person
that might of scared me some other time. But right now, I
must’ve had a boost of confidence, because he was a
jerk. You don’t let a lady sit outside in the pouring
rain. He could’ve at least let her stand under the awning,
or give her his hat, or something. “Whatever.”
I turned around back to Mom. “Mom, put the cigarette down.
We’re leaving.” She must of seen I was serious
and not in the mood to argue. Or she realized she can’t go
back into the bar. Because she threw that cigarette down and got
in the car. “Oh mom, why didn’t you call me?” I
said. I would’ve come pick her up. “I lost my phone
somewhere in the bar.” Of course, she can’t keep
track of anything when she’s drunk. “We were going
home, okay? And you can get some rest; we have a lot to talk
about tomorrow…”
My Life As
Bella
Chapter Five
By the time I would’ve of
got back to school it would’ve been after lunch. So I
decided to go home and make up my classes some other time. I have
a few hours until the boys will be home, so I might as will pick
up the toys in the living room and see what groceries we have for
dinner. Maybe go down to the store. As I was walking
across the kitchen to the refrigerator I saw a little, folded up
piece of paper. Me being curious opened it up. Ehh,
it’s just some guy’s phone number. Nothing new, there
are tons of them around the house. Wait, is this a receipt
on the back? Sure enough it was. It was for the pharmacy right
down the street. Hold on, it’s for a pregnancy test?! My
mom can’t be pregnant! She just can’t be. I ran to
the bathroom in hopes of finding the pregnancy test. And right
there on top of the pile of garbage in the trash can was a
pregnancy test. Luckily, it was facing up so I didn’t have
to touch it to see what it read.
And there it was. Right there. A little plus
sign.

My Life As
Bella
Chapter Four
"Come on Mom, we're
leaving." I said once I got over to her.
"I'm having such a good time though! Come on honey,
Let loose! Let me get you a drink." She said
swaying back and forth on the bar stool. "No mom.
I'm 17, I'm not drinking. And were leaving." I
can't believe her. No mother in their right mind
would give their child alcohol. "No we're
not." She said right before she fell off the bar stool. The
creepy guy next to her catching her before hitting the ground.
After she was positioned back on the stool I continued the
argument. "Mom you called me, remember. I left school to
come get you. And we're leaving right now. So get up, get
your coat on and let's go." I said in my most forceful
voice. I am really am tired of being the mom here. I am supposed
to be the crazed teenager here. But instead of living my life I
have to control her's. It's just not fair.
"Don't you use that tone with your mother. We will leave
when I want to leave." She said, she can't be serious.
"Your not my mother. And you have no idea how to be
one." And with that I left. She can find her own way
home.

My Life As
Bella
Chapter Three
I
arrived at Bucky’s Bar about 15 minutes after I got the
call. I honked the horn to let my mom know where I was. I’m
not even sure if that was going to help though, she is pretty
drunk. She just might need some flashing lights and a sparkly
sign to get her going in the right direction. After a few minutes
and still no sign off her, I decided to just go in and get her.
I’m mad. I really am. I mean she can’t keep living
like this. It’s just not good for her. Getting drunk and
high every single night, sleeping with every guy willing to do it
with her, one of these days it’s going to get to her. And
it won’t be good. “Miss, I am going to need to
see your ID.” The bouncer said at the door, jogging me out
of my thoughts. “I don’t have one. I need to
get my mom.” I said rolling my eyes. I am 17 to God’s
sake. I look like I’m 14, why would I have an ID. Idiot.
“Well I’m not supposed to do this, but go along,
hurry.” I nodded my head and walked in to the Bar. It
was crazy in here. There are a lot of people in here for a
Wednesday morning. The sad thing is, they all probably have
families, like my mom. Mom. There she was, over by the bar.
Downing another shot. There was a guy sitting next to her, and
his hands were all over her, but she didn’t seem to
care.
My Life As
Bella
Chapter Two
"Bzz! Bzz!" My
phone was vibrating in my pocket during 3rd period. Mrs. Everest
looked at me with death eyes. "Sorry, it's my mom."
"Take it in the hall Bella." I got up out of my desk
and walked into the hall. "Mom?" "Can you come
pick me up?" She was drunk, her words were
slurred. "Mom, I'm kind of at school in
History. I just can't leave." Is she serious. You
have to have a parental excuse in order to leave school early.
"What are you doing at school at this hour. It's the
middle of the night!" "Mom. No it's not.
It's 10:30. Time for me to be in school. Time for
you to be at work." I said rolling my eyes.
It's a wonder she hasn't lost her job yet. She
never goes. But I am pretty sure she
has 'something' going on with her boss, so
he lets it slide. "Well, where has the time gone!
So Bella can you come pick me up?" She asked. I wonder
were she is. Probably in the bathroom of a bar, or on some
random guy's couch. It's a different story every night.
"I need a pass." I said. "Let me talk to the
teacher." What the heck! She is in know state
to talk to my teacher, she is drunk! But whatever I have nothing
to loose. Mrs. Everest doesn't even like me to begin with. I
walked back into the class room with my hand over the mouth
piece. "Mrs. Everest? My mother wants to talk to
you." She grabbed the phone and walked out into the hall.
After a few minutes of standing there awkwardly, She came back
in. "Bella, your excused. Your mother...um...needs you right
now."
