"You, with
your words like knives and swords and weapons that you use
against me, you have knocked me off my feet again, got me
feeling like I'm nothing, you with your voice like
nails on a chalkboard calling me out when I'm wounded
you, pickin' on the weaker man," I sang outloud
while baking in my kitchen.
Suddenly, a light clap came from behind me and I turned around.
"Oh my god Harry!" I shrieked. I put my hand on my heart and and dropped the oven mitts I was wearing.
"Oh sorry, I didn't mean to scare you.." He trailed off.
"Well why don't you just get out of my house then!" I spat.
I saw his face go red with anger.
"I came here to apologize you sl/t!" He screamed back.
I was taken aback from the word apologize, not sl/t.
"Apologize?" I whispered, sinking to the floor.
I turned over my wrists and showed him the newl cut scars on my wrist.
"Siloh..." He said, barely able to make out my name.
Harry kneeled down next to me and cupped his face in my hands.
"Siloh Kendra Dawson, I'm so sorry for what I've put you through."
I looked into his sizzling green eyes, it looked pretty believable.
Suddenly, he kissed me. He put his hands firly in my waist so I couldn't escape, no matter how hard I tried.
I finally gave in and put my arms around his neck.
When we finally pulled apart, he was smiling so big. It was smile I would never want to forget.
"Harry," I said, pulling back. "I-I don't think I can do this."
"But Siloh, I love you."
I don't think I believe him.
