Shall we compare our hearts to a garden-
(*with beautiful blooms*)
straggling weeds,
swooping birds
&+ ☼ sunshine☼,
☂rain☂-
&+ most importantly,
SEEDS.

day 18- the story behind your
life
Well, I was born December 27,
1994. My parents were happily married. I lived a spoiled, but
relatively normal childhood until I was 5 ½, when my
sister was born. A few months later,
my dad left. I haven’t seen him in eight years. Life got
better after that. My aunt got married and had two daughters,
who I see all the time and adore. But in
2009, I lost my great-grandfather, with very little warning.
Then, in 2010, I lost a close family friend and my
great-grandmother, and my aunt was
diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, a form of cancer. Every day after
school, I walked up to visit my aunt and then,
the last day of 10th
grade, she passed away, with very little warning. I’m
slowly losing faith in the world and tend to think it’s a
dark, maddening place, but I deal.
