day 18- the story behind your life
Well, I was born December 27, 1994. My parents were happily married. I lived a spoiled, but relatively normal childhood until I was 5 ½, when my sister was born. A few months later, my dad left. I haven’t seen him in eight years. Life got better after that. My aunt got married and had two daughters, who I see all the time and adore. But in 2009, I lost my great-grandfather, with very little warning. Then, in 2010, I lost a close family friend and my great-grandmother, and my aunt was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, a form of cancer. Every day after school, I walked up to visit my aunt and then, the last day of 10^th grade, she passed away, with very little warning. I’m slowly losing faith in the world and tend to think it’s a dark, maddening place, but I deal.
