I was at my best
friend's house doing a science project with my three best
friends. Around 5:30-6:00, we were just chillin, when his face
flashed through my mind. The memories...the things he'd
said...everything... I turned to one of them named Jordyn and
asked, "Can you search people on Facebook from your
iTouch?" "Yeah...why?" It's as if she read my
mind. "No," she blurted. "Absolutely not!" Me,
embarrassed by my feelings, started laughing. "Why?" I
asked, pain filling my empty spaces. "Because!" she'd
responded.
Now all three of them were being their concerned selves. Now Mal was telling me "no" just like Jordyn, while Veina stayed quiet. I stood up from the wood floor and let it out...
"Please!" I begged. "No!" they both hollered. Jordyn was now defending her iTouch so I wouldn't make a run for it. After five minutes of begging, I snapped...
"...Please..." I said now crying. The room fell silent. It was becoming painful...Jordyn stood from the bed and hugged me...a little too much...but it was okay. "He was everything..." I cried. "He made me feel important...like my life was worth living." I was now surrounded by a comforting embrace, that at the same time, was the most painful experience.
