I looked at the clock on my bedside table and was in shock when I saw how late it got. It was 11:30 and me and kyle were still writing place cards and tying ribbons on bags. My mom is a caterer and there’s always work to be done. My mom had forgotten to write down an appointment, and remembered it about two hours ago. The party is tomorrow. Kyle came over to help out with everything, he even skipped practice. He has know idea how much it means to me and I have to remember to let him know how awesome he is. Despite the fact that all this boring work had to be done, me and Kyle were having a great time. He can make me laugh no matter what the situation. 

When I realized how late it was I apologized a million times to Kyle. He said no worries and that his dad was out late anyway and wouldn’t care. We finished up and he left around twelve. My mom and drove him home because it was way to dark for him to ride his bike back. I walked him to his door and kissed him goodnight. I walked back down the three steps that lead to his door and waved as he walked inside.

I walk into the locker room and find Heather. Heather is on the school soccer team and also one of my best friends. I put my bags down and start to change into my practice clothes. Me and Heather talk about the latest gossip and couples and walk out to the field. 

After practice, as usual, Heather takes me home. Molly, another one of my close friends,  is getting a ride home too. I talk to her about her new boyfriend, Shane. Heather disapproves, as usual, thinking she goes out with too many guys. Molly has had just about a million boyfriends. She’s gorgeous and can’t seem to find the right guy. Heather hates that Molly has had so many boyfriends, but I find it pretty entertaining. 

Heather’s mom drops me off and I thank her for the ride. I walk into my house and of course it’s mayhem. Jack is, well, I guess you could say eating spaghetti. He’s throwing noodles at my sister Alison. Alison is my ten year old sister and we’re pretty close. She picks up Jack and tickles him until he falls over. I laugh and join in. My mom runs into the living room and begs for help with the other six kids. I ask Alison to help her out as I put Jack in front of the tv and turn it on. He smiles and is glued to the tv. I put a load of laundry in and start on dinner. I find Lily, my two year old sister, and put her in her high chair. My phone vibrates and I look down to see two texts. One from Kyle and one from my friend Brooke. Brooke is my neighbor that lives across the street. Carter also lives in my neighborhood, right next door. Me, Brooke, and Carter have the best times hanging out. Brooke’s text is to remind me that me, her, and Carter are seeing a movie on friday. I send a quick reply and text Kyle back. 

Kyle: cait?? i miss u

Me: im so sorry i forgot to text u, things have been really crazy

Kyle: no worries, text me when u can, love u c

Me: i love u ky

I quickly finish up cooking and call everyone to dinner. My mom insists that she’s too busy and everyone else sits down. My dad walks in right as I’m putting his plate in the fridge. He gives everyone a hug with a big, warm smile on his face. he sits down and my mom passes through the dining room to greet him.

After dinner, my dad insists on doing the dishes, even though I know he’s tired. I put Lily in her playpen and run upstairs to work on homework. Kelly is just on her computer, so I ask her if she can make sure Jack and everyone don’t get in to trouble. She growls and continues to type on her laptop. I ask Alison to help and she automatically turns the tv off. After I finish my homework, I text Kyle and make sure everyone is okay. 

I walk down the stairs of the bus and spot Kyle walking into school. My stomach explodes as I run up behind him. He smiles and wraps his arms around me.

I walk into homeroom and take my seat next to Carter and in front of Hailey. Hailey's one of my best friend’s and Carter is the best guy friend in the world. The bell for homeroom bounces off the walls of Mr. Klensh’s room. Mr. Klensh is my homeroom teacher, and also teaches my math class. He’s pretty much the best teacher ever. 

I get through my morning classes and finally get to see Kyle. As soon as I see him my heart skips a beat and I run up and wrap my little arms around his warm body. He wore my favorite shirt, he’s the best.

“I missed you, Angel” he whispers with a big smile.

“Miss you more” I reply

Lunch is great as usual but I can’t let him go before the next class. He holds my hand and walks me to class. He pulls me close and kisses my head and tells me he’ll see me soon. 

As soon as eighth period is dismissed, I grab my stuff and fun to Kyle’s locker. I wrap my arms around him and breathe him in. He smells amazing as usual and it makes me miss him even more. He walks me to the girls locker room where i have to get ready for soccer.
