Nine Syllables
I'm a riddle in nine syllables,
A kitten, a mysterious tree,
A ball rolling on an endless street.
O' yellow sun shining down on me!
Those apples being harvested now.
Happiness flooding into my heart.
I'm a diamond, a gem, just now found.
I've tried every road possible,
An endless road, there is no way out.
Poet's Note: Okay, don't actually go looking for an
answer to the riddle, it's not a riddle, but if you count the
syllables in each line you'll notice that they all have 9.
This is something we did in school so if you've ever heard
the poem "Metaphors" this is based off of that because
it was an assignment.
