I don’t understand why the most selfless people on earth are the ones that suffer the most.
A really good friend of my mom’s is married to a retired United States Army Reserve veteran.  About three years ago he was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s Disease.  This family has been there for mine throughout some tough times and it hurts me to see them have to watch him die.
To add to all that Rachel’s (my mom’s friend) dad is suffering from kidney failure.
It’s just not fair!!
