((This is kind of related (?), but it makes me think of my friend. We were told our English class had a 75% average or something, which is really good. My friend poked me and made some comment about how ghastly the mark was. And...I got so angry at her. It is a good passing grade, and a great class average. She has to right to shame people for that stuff, and completely ignored the fact that about half of the class had less than a 75. Just...sigh.))
Besides, your friend should be happy that 75% is considered good.
Sigh, in our school, getting a B1 in any subject is like death.
