The massacre today was done by Taliban terrorists.
Basically, the Pakistani military has been conducting a search for Taliban terrorists in the Peshawar area, so terrorists targeted a school specifically for the children of people in the army. It occurred during school hours rather than the children being rounded up.

I know. The news channels over here (in India) provided full coverage on the attack. We had a prayer for them in school. The tag was because some white people refuse to acknowledge that the taliban kill muslims too, that the taliban do not represent muslims. I am disgusted by them.

Robbing a store is not something you shoot somebody for (even though he didn't, security camera footage along with eyewitness accounts confirm this). Micheal Brown was not attacking darren Wilson, He had his hands up and said "Don't shoot". Darren wilson is said to have kkk connections. Darren Wilson has rage issues. He said "it looked like a demon" when he described micheal brown, idk about you but, I think thats enough to say that it was murder, not self defence. Thirdly- Micheal Brown refused to join the football team in his highschool bc he didn't want to hurt anybody. Does that sound like someone who'd attack a cop?

black cops have shot black people before to just like white cops have shot white people before... don't rule them out because it does happen

I'm really glad they arrested him. Imagine how Michael Brown's mother feels- a man shot her son six times even though he hasn't done anything wrong , became a millionaire and the case didn't even go to trial.

If ur white you need to be aware of how much privilege u have. idk about you but my race is a vital part of me, my culture makes me who I am. yea well it doesn't matter to me that much, I may be more privileged in soceities eyes but for example I work on a farm with over 500 cows tthere are over 15 of us working there and 7 of them are Mexicans, I work side by side with them day in and day out, in many ways they know more than I and teach me but they also get more days off and free housing when I do not. I live in America there is no culture for me I don't really think about that stuff that much, other than family it isn't that important. I wasn't claiming to be colorblind

Here's the thing. You're white, you never "notice" your race because its never come up. Cases like this make you feel uncomfortable because you don't want to acknowledge that the system is biased towards whites. There's this thing we have in India, reservation on the basis of caste and gender, in schools, colleges, government offices etc. Its done because these sections of society have been trod on for centuries and each individual needs all the help they can get. Yet, you still have whiny upper-caste boys saying that its not fair that they have to work harder than the OBCs. They don't realise that OBCs need help until there is no caste based discrimination- ever- in cities and villages etc. I assume its the same thing in the USA.
With Trayvon, they wanted witnesses, with Micheal Brown they wanted video footage and even with Eric Garner, no arrests were made, in any of the cases. This is what ra ci sm looks like. The fact that you can sit there and not feel affected or scared about your family, is your privilege.

It's not like the boy wasnt doing anythng. The cop legally had a reason to shoot him because the boy had tried to beat up the cop and the boy also robbed a store. So, the cop shot him for self defense, which is legal in that situation.

Not really, as white person, you never would've experienced discrimination on the basis of your race. You'll never experience the hate and discrimination PoC experience. Yeah, there are a lot of things I don't know about (trignometry for example) but, as a , brown girl, I've experienced enough prejudice to know when i see it.

Also, the Percy Jackson series has a half white half native american, a hispanic, an african american, a chinese-canadian and for chrissake they have someone who's half goat. In the Kane chronicles, you have mixed race kids, and african american characters and an middle eastern wizard/witch/whatever. Rang De Basanti had a white charecter, and bollywood films (trust me, I know) are se.xist, ra.cist and ho.mophobic. Writers like Eva Ibbotson and Jacqueline Wilson have included non-white main characters despite being white, are you seriously telling me that no other author could put in even a tiny bit of effort to do some research?
