CHAPTER SEVEN

I ran into the bathroom and cried my eyes out. I couldn’t stop myself. I couldn’t stop myself. Why would I be mad? I mean it’s not like he’s cheating on me or anything/

“Abby?” I heard Kelly come into the bathroom. I didn’t answer her. I quietly sobbed to myself. She found the stall I was in and climbed under the stall door.

“What’s wrong” she asked me.

“I don’t even know where to begin. I can’t remember who I am, I’m living in a strange person’s house, I’m still kind of banged up from the accident, and Chris has a girlfriend.”

“Oh my god! You like Chris!” she squealed. Out of everything I just said is that all she got out of that? I don’t like him I’m just mad he has a girlfriend. Okay maybe I do like him. But I’m not admitting it to anyone. And he hit me with his car. Like seriously who likes someone who almost killed them.

“…no” I responded.

“Yeah right she giggled come on lets go home. It’s been a rough day.”

And with that we went back to the house.

Chapter Five

I arrived at their house. It was amazing. It was so big and open. I walked through the double door entrance and then Tyler led me up the stairs, down a long hallway.

“this is my room” he pointed to the corner room in the hall. “This is my younger youngest sister, Kelly’s room. And next to it is Carly’s” he pointed to two rooms across from his. “This is the guest bedroom, where you will be staying. Chris’s bedroom and yours are connected with the bathroom so be sure to knock before u go into the bathroom”

I nodded “got it”

“Oh, and I think mom put some cloths into the closet for you. She said she didn’t know what you liked so she tried to get various types of clothing.”

“Tell her I said thank you,” I said.

“Okay then, I’ll leave you to it.”

To what? I thought. 

I went over to check out the closet. It was a big walk in. these people must be loaded. The room was painted an off white. The bed was white wood with a light pink canopy and there was a balcony. I went outside and took a breath of fresh air. I cant believe this is happening. I still didn’t remember who I was but that didn’t matter now. All that mattered was that I had a place to stay and I knew my name was Abby.

The door that led to the bathroom knocked and I opened it.  It was the guy that hit me with his car.  “Hi” I greeted him.

“Hey, dinner will be ready in five minutes” he said. He walked past me and into my room. He plopped onto my bed

“Hey!” I scolded.

“Hi” he joked back

“I never said you could come in,” I said jokingly.

“You never said I couldn’t” he chuckled to himself.

“Are you Chris?” I asked him. Tyler mentioned a Chris but he never pointed him out to me.

 “yeah,” he gave me a half smile after a short silence he said “So you still don’t remember?”

“Nothing,” I admitted.

“We are hosing my cousins wedding here in two weeks.”

“Oh,” was he kicking me out?

“Are you going to go?” he asked me. I didn’t know how to respond because first I didn’t know these people and second I don’t even know if I will be here then. As an answer I shrugged.

“Well you should, it would be fun.”

I nodded, “we should get down to dinner,” I said changing she subject. I had a major headache. I couldn’t remember my past so the last thing I want to do is think about the future.

Chris and I walked out of the room and down to the kitchen. They had a nice family meal. It felt good. It was good to know that I had people that cared about me. I mean these people didn’t know me but they must care because they are letting me stay in their house.

All threw the dinner Carly kept giving me the deaths stare. I wonder what her problem is.
