Chapter 1
Colton's POV
The week was going the same as always. Classes all day, go to work, go home, do homework, have dinner, read a book play video games or talk to friends, then go to bed. Then the next day wake up and do it all over again. Through in a thunderstorm or two and you have my life all packed into one. I have a good life in New York I was just wanting something exciting to happen. I was walking to the school, I could have taken the subway but I liked to walk when it was drizzling a little bit. I don't regret it at all, because that's when I saw...her. I was walking and saw this girl sitting on the sidewalk looking confused, just from one look at her I could tell she didn't belong here. Her black hair glistened with each raindrop that fell on it, the blue eyes shone out like the sun through the dreariness of the dull grey sky. She stood up with the grace of an angel. Her eyes scanned the crowds around her but barely glanced at me. I looked at my watch to see what time it was, it felt like I had been there staring at this beautiful girl for an eternity, and when I looked up I saw her simple dress flying behind her as she ran to the park. I had to know her. My days of doing the same there were over.
