This was very interesting. Almost NOTHING matches with anything lol. This was actually quite amusing.

Today He Told Me He Knew

No one knew. Not even my best friend. No one knew.

He said he saw them , in gym one day.

I had on shorts, and a t shirt. He saw them.

He got mad, wouldn't talk to me for a week. No a word was said.

I tried a conversation, and we progressed to small talk.

I didn't know that he knew, he never told me. 

It seemed like we were fine again. We became best friends.

We tried to make a relationship work, but we were teased and critized. 

So we stopped.



A month went by from when school was out.

We could never hang out at each others' lockers, We couldn't hang out at all.

I would never see him at school again. He was there, and I was here.

We hadn't talked. At all. But one day, we did.

He told me that he missed me. He told me he loved me.

He regrets not kissing me like he wasn't scared.

The topic came up. He asked one simple word.

Why?



I told him that it wasn't what he thought. He said, How?

I didn't know. So I just asked a question. Just a simple one,

If you knew, and you were sure, why do you still love a girl covered in scars?

I waited for hours, he never texted nor called. The finally the truth came out.


" A girl covered in anything is still beautiful. You are still beautiful in my eyes

and I still love you. You are still the ame person and I thinkyou're perfect; that's all that matters"

I went off. I didn't believe him.

"It isn't all that matters because I don't believe it. I wish I could but I can't. I'm sorry

but I just don't believe you." 



Then it was his turn. He spoke what he wanted.

"I don't want to talk to you, text you or see you ever again"

Witty, I lost him forever. He's gone.

My best friend, my first crush, gone.

He won't ever be my first kiss like he promised. He wont be my 

date to homecoming. And he wont be my best friend. 

I lost him.

And now, I truly understand the saying,

You never know what you got until it's gone.
