Amanda Todd moved not once, but twice.
She tried to escape from an old mistake, but she couldn't.
She tried suicide twice, and
nearly nobody tried to help her other than her parents.
She was beat up in the presence of an estimated fifty students.
They filmed it.
She had depression and anxiety, and if you think that that is
easy to treat, then you're completely wrong.
She had a pretty cruel life, and that's why everybody is
giving her so much attention. Not because she's pretty, like most people think. But
it's because she told her story. She tried to call out for
help just before killing herself. And, please, her story is not
the only one which got a lot of attention. Remember Phoebe Prince? Ryan Halligan? All these stories were not
brought out to the public to gain attention. They were brought
out to the public as an example of what bullying can do. Their
objective is not to overshadow other victims, it's to try and
prevent future victims.
We should all show Amanda the support that she never got while
she was here with us.
R.I.P. Amanda Todd, rest
peacefully.
