Okay wait ... I just read you quote about your brother, and I am literally crying. I am SOOOOO very passionate about this sort of stuff. My great great uncle (he passed away almost 2 years ago) was developementally delayed/disabled. They weren't positive what he had, but they said most likely Ceresbral Palsey. And they said it's most likely because when my great great grandma was about to give birth in an ambulance, the paramedics in there with her told her to "hold it" and he was deprived of oxygen. He basically had the mentality of an 8 year old his whole life, but he was the sweetest person, and I loved him. It's my dream to work with special needs people, especially children, when I get older. And right now I volunteer through my school in programs involving kids like your brother and my uncle. It would mean so much to me if you would comment back to me. I would love to talk to someone who has the same views on this, that it's wrong to single them out because of their disabilities. PLEASE comment back :)
