I texted Ian for the rest of the
day. We talked about everything and it was like I
trusted him. And I think that I started to like him,
a lot.
*Buzz* Went my phone. Of course I thought that it was from Ian, but it was from Jessica.
“Hey I think that I wanna dance with ian at the dance. Do u think tht he wuld say yes?” it read.
“idk, why do u like him?” I sent back.
“well yeah of course I have for a while now” she sent back. Woah, what am I getting myself into.

was like a dot of darkness. It felt super awkward, so
I left the room to get water.
“Hey, Bella.” Said someone. Of course, it was another guy, because I definitely need more guy drama. It was Ian he had brown hair and green eyes. And he was taller than me.
“Hey, what’s up?” I asked. I really did not want to go back into the classroom.
“Not much. Hey, can I see your phone?” he asked.
“Yeah sure.” I took it out. We weren’t supposed to have our phones during school but no one really stuck to that rule.
“Here, I put my number in it. Text me after school, ok?” He smiled.
“Ok cool. Text ya later” I waved and walked to the next floor. I still didn’t want to go to my classroom. I didn’t talk to Ian a lot but he seemed nice so whatever. And of course when I finally reached the other side of the building, the bell rang. Just my luck, with my iPod and books and backpack all left in the classroom.

over the hallways. They were about the new dance. It
said to come all dressed up for the end of the

“Yes!!!” Jessica shouted. “It’ll be my chance to ask him to dance.” Her eyes widened. “You should ask Kyle to dance.”
“Uhh… no I don’t think so.” I replied.
“No come on. It’ll make him feel so much better.”
“I know, but I have to make sure that I feel ok about it.”
“Well, whatever.” She said and walked ahead to her next class. I finally had a class with my “sister,” Taylor. She had blonde, straight hair and was about my height.
“So did you hear about the dance?” Tay asked.
“Yupp… Are you going with anyone?” I asked.
“I’m not sure… I’ve kind of had my eyes on…” she stared across the room to Logan. He had brown, curly hair and blue eyes. They would make a great couple.
“Well, he would be stupid to say no.” I laughed.
“So who are you going to ask?”
“No one. I think I am going alone. Just with my friends and stuff.”
“I will only say ok if that ‘stuff’ is a guy.”

The sound of students typing echoed the room. Yupp, it was computer class… again. I dreaded this class the most but the only thing that helped my get through it was my seat.
“Hey Bella, do you still like Derek?” Jason sat down right next to me.
“Well…” The name is Isabella, but of course I like to be called Bella. That is not because of Twilight. I have dark brown hair and of course chocolate eyes. Everyone looks different but I feel the same. Ohh, Derek. He had light brown skater boy hair and hazel eyes. Yup, he was nearly everything I wanted. And what made things awkward, was that Jason was one of his close friends.
“Well…” Jason said eager to hear that of course I still did.
“Yeah, I still do.” I blushed.
“Well…” he looked at his hands and frowned.

“Yeah, I know,” I nodded and smiled while he put his arm around me. And that’s how we walked into school. Jessica, a super popular girl, passed us walking in and gave me the death stare.

“Don’t worry about it.” He said. But she was problably the one who called me; I don’t get dirty looks that often.
“Ok then,” and we split our separate ways to go to classes.
We met up again at lunch and sat next to each other. We choose a table for just the two of us. And we talked about random things. But the weird thing was that Jessica kept on looking over from her table to ours. And it was a little creepy. But I didn’t care.
At the end of the lunch period, the bell rang and we all rushed through the hallways. And halfway through the crossway in the middle of the school, someone pulled my arm and dragged me into the janitors closet. It was dark and I couldn’t tell who it was.
“Ok, so I want to help you but you make it so hard for me to do that.” She said.
“Help me from what?” I asked.
“You must be blind, Adam is cheating on you.” She said.
“Is this Jessica?”
“No, I hate her. She’s the one Adam cheated on me with.”
“So wait, is he a cheater?”
“Well supposedly, he was caught making out with Melanie.”
“MELANIE!?!” I gasped. The 2nd bell rang.
“Wait,” she pulled me in as I reached for the door, “they are said to be going on a date to the park right after school.”
“Ok, so I should go there and spy on them?”
“Yupp, have fun with that. And if anyone asks,” she opened the door that revealed her face. It was Angelica. “You didn’t hear it from me.” She walked out and slammed the door in my face. I ended up being 5 minutes late to class. It was on the other side of the building.
