I
feel sorry for the next generation.
They will never experience some
of the little moments that we take for granted.
They will never knonw the sound of pushing a tape into the
VCR.
All of their movies and cartoons will be Computer-Generated,
rather than Hand Drawn.
They will never know what it's like to listen to a cassette
tape.
They will never live through Potter Mania,
or Bieber Fever,
or the era where Taylor Swift practically told the story of
every girl's teenage life.
They will never watch Sam climb into Clarissa's window,
Watch Judge Trudy call in the Dancing Lobsters,
use their "Imaginaaaaaaaaation!" in a cardboard
box,
Watch Angelica torment Tommy and Chuckie,
Watch the Wild Thornberrys go on adventures,
Or sing along with Bear and The Big Blue House.
They'll never live through the era where everything
was,
"I know you are, but what am I?"
"Girls go to college to get more knowledge, boys go to
Jupiter to get more stupider!"
Every one of us has our own
little memories that remind us of childhood.
...And we'll
all be the old people sitting on the couch saying,
"Darned kids these days! When I was your age..."
Imagine there's no
heaven, It's easy if you try, No hell below us,
Above us only sky. Imagine all the people living for
today..Imagine there's no countries, It isn't hard to
do, Nothing to kill or die for, And no religion too. Imagine
all the people living life in peace...Imagine no possessions,
I wonder if you can, No need for greed or hunger, A
brotherhood of man. Imagine all the people sharing all the
world...You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the
only one, I hope some day you'll join us,
And the world will be as one.♥
