Prologue.
June 12th, 2012.
 

Prologue

'Why did I just eat?' I ask myself as I run to the bathroom.
I wait in there for around 10 minutes for the other people to leave before doing my buisness.
Once, twice, three times.
I flush the toilet twice before leaving the stall.
I spray it down with perfume to get rid of the smell.
I was my mouth out quickly and take a shot of mouthwash.
I stick a piece of gum in my mouth before returning to dinner with my family.
I sat down next to my mom and smiled at her, my pearly whites not showing any evidence.
I talked and acted like nothing had happened.
"So, Amelia," my mom began, "What would you like for dessert?"
I looked at her and was about to answer before I looked down and saw a bump in my torso.
"Nothing mom. I'm so full from dinner." I said hoping she wouldn't notice my lie.
She looked at me and frowned, "You barely ate though."
I smiled at her, "Sorry mom. I'm trying to watch my weight for cheer."
She nodded, "I understand."
I smiled, "I have to go now mom. Cheer practice starts in 20 minutes."
She smiled, "Bye sweetie. See you when you get home."
I gave her a bright smile, "Bye mom."
