You know what i really hate, how everyone is getting mad at people for having a diffent opinion than them. People against gays hate people who are for gays while its the other way around. Everyone has the right to dislike, or like something and shouldn't be judged for it. What is important is that everyone gets the same rights as everyone else. We should all respect each others opinions and decisions. Just don't take away someones right because of their sexual orientation.

Finally! Someone who gets it! If you read the comments below you will see how I was attacked. All I did was state my opinion, why can't ppl accept the fact that ppl dont always agree with what they do?

Please do not take this as an attack- I totally respect why you do not support homosexuality because it is against your religion. (Personally, I totally support gay rights but whatever). You have your right to your opinion but your opinions should not effect other people's way of life. If they want to marry someone of the same gender your opinion should not influence it. And to conclude- just because you have your own opinions and way of religion does not mean you are scared, which is pretty much what "phobia" means.

I'm not scared of gay people and I defiantly don't hate them. One of our laws is seperation between church and state. I think the biggest factor that is in the gay marriage debate is religion, and the fact that the US was found on Christian values, and Christianity is the largest religion here. Since the church and state should be sepreated, whats stopping gays from getting married? I disagree with being gay, and I believe marriage should be between a man and a woman but if I was looking at this as just the law, with all religion aside gays should be allowed to get married, even though I disagree with it (does that make sense?)
