My dad is a teacher. Today he picked me up from school with a
15 year old boy in the car. The boys name is Zack, and he
needed a ride home. For 45 minutes I sat in the car with this
boy and we talked, laughed, and I had a good time with him.
Once he got out of the car my dad told me that he had autism. I
had no idea, I only thought he was a little weird, and I just
accepted him. My dad told me tha...t
I probably made his day by talking to him and laughing with him
because he doesn't have many friends. The funny thing is,
that boy was the nicest person I've talked to all day today
and i rather talk to him again for a hour than a
"normal" boy. Sometimes, just sometimes, the
"problem" children are the ones who shine the
brightest.
