God is just an extra ally for me, whether or not I have a million friends or none. I'm gonna be honest and say sometimes I question it. How could it ever be real? Then, I see it in the smallest of actions. A new song on my ipod that I've never seen before, just when I need it. The weird push in my head telling me to do something, always leading to something bigger and better than I've ever imagined. An unexpected smile from a random stranger. Sure, I might not know everything about God, but I can feel it in my heart.

I actually have a good, non-overused reason as to why I believe in gay marriage.
1) The only reason it is so controversial is because it goes against tenets of CHRISTIANITY. Shouldn't American law be based off of fairness and no bias to other religions, because there are some religions that think it is okay. What if I practice a religion that think it's okay? It's not right for me to be denied something because of the beliefs of Christianity. If gay marriage is illegal, then America is basically stating that law is based off of Christianity and that it is the only religion that matters, and that everyone must live under its laws.
There is so much proof of a higher being, whether or not we realize it. It comes in the form of goodness, happiness, and love. Sure, some of religion is possibly and probably made up, but the essence of it is so real, in our hearts, bodies and mind.
