HEY YOU.
Yes, you. Stop being unhappy
with yourself. You are perfect.
Stop wishing you looked like someone else, or wishing people
liked
you as much as they like someone else. Stop trying to get
attention
from those who hurt you.
Stop hating your body, your face, your
personality,
your
quirks. Love
them. Without those things, you wouldn't be
you.
And why would you want to be anyone else? Be confident
with who
you are. Smile, it'll draw people in. If anyone hates on
you because
you are happy with yourself, then stick your middle
finger in the air
and say "Screw it, my happiness will not depend
on others anymore.
I'm happy because I love who I am.
I love my flaws. I love my imperfections.
They make me, me.
& me is pretty damn a m a z i n g
."
nmq.
"He's
not
perfect.
You aren't either,
and the two of you will never be
perfect.
But if he can make you laugh at least once, causes you to
think twice,
and if he admits to being human and making mistakes, hold
on to him
and give him the most you can. He isn't going to
quote poetry, he's not
thinking of you every moment, but he will give you a part
of him that he knows
you could break. Don't hurt him,
don't change him, and don't expect more than
he can give. Don't analyze. Smile when he makes you
happy, yell when he
makes you mad, and miss him when he isn't there.
Love hard when there is love to be had.
Because perfect guys don't
exist,
but there's always one
guy
that is
perfect
for
you."
-Bob
Marley.
Have
you
ever
been
in love?
Horrible, isn't it? It makes you
so v.u.l.n.e.r.a.b.l.e. It opens your
chest,
and it opens your heart. It means that someone can get
inside you and mess you up.
You build up all these defenses, you build up a whole suit
of armor, so that nothing can hurt
you.
Then that one stupid person wanders into your stupid
life... You give
them a piece of you.
They didn't ask for it. They did something dumb one
day, like kiss you or smile at you,
and then your life isn't yours a n y m o r
e. Love takes hostages. It gets inside you.
It eats you out and leaves you crying in the darkness, so
simple a phrase like
"maybe we should just be friends" turns into a
glass splinter working its way into your heart.
It hurts. Not just the imagination. Not just in the
mind.
It's a soul
hurt, a real gets-inside-you-and-rips-you-apart
pain.
I hate
love.
-Neil Gaiman
"As you're
reading
this,
your
life’s getting shorter. It’s
ticking away. I’m not saying this to frighten
you. Or even scare you. Though it may. I’m saying
this to a w a k e n you. To i n s
p i r e you. To rise you out of your deep slumber.
To really know you won’t live
forever. To share your unique gifts. To ignite your great
inner fire.To ignite your
great inner strength. To ignite your great inner light. To
shine. Brightly shine. To awaken your great inner beauty.
To m o t i v a t e. Yourself and others.
To l o v e. Yourself and others. To paint.
To write. To teach. To innovate. To sing. To dance. To
care. To feel. To
listen.
To l e a r
n. To laugh.
