We're gonna start by drinking old cheap bottles of wine, sit talking up all night, saying things we haven't for a while.

Hearing 'we need to talk' followed by 'we can't hook up tonight' made me feel something that there isn't a word for.

We were walking out of the theatre and the ramp was dark and empty. I was walking in front of her, nice and slow. She kept shoving me forward and finally I turned around and let her try and pass me. Right when she was next to me, I pushed her against the wall and kissed her, grinding my nails into the carpeted wall right above her head. I stepped into her, letting her know I meant it. Happy doesn't even begin to describe.

I had my arm around her as she dug her face into my shoulder, anticipating the scary part that was about to come. I rested my hand on her flat brim, my other still holding her leg. With nothing else on my mind, I soaked in fact not only do I love her, but she loves me.

I tried to bring myself to open my car door, but I couldn't take my eyes off her. I slowly picked my wallet up off the ground and she handed me my phone, saying "You're taking this." even though she was all I really wanted to take. I took it from her hand anyways though, and leaned in and kissed her goodbye. When I pulled away she had a sly smile. "The was so inappropriate, people could have been watching."
I didn't care at all though, so I leaned in and kissed her again.
"Get out." And I did just that.

When the movie was about to end, I lifted her head off my shoulder.
"Can I try something?" I asked, trying to keep my calm. All she did was smile and shake her head yes, her eyes sparkling with the reflection of the movie. I hesitated for half a second to make sure this was happening. Then, I leaned in and kissed the girl I'm in love with.

It's complicated...
