Even though I have been engaging in the arguments myself I agree wholeheartedly.

Ikr? Witty is men't for funny,cute,and heartfelt quotes. Not quotes that end up in drama.

In some ways, it's good that we're thinking about these controversial things (as in politics, gay marriage and abortion), cause in the a few years the majority of witty will be able to vote (I will have to vote for the first time this september!) and we really need to know both arguments and decide what we believe. HOWEVER everyone on witty seems to be incapable of having a civilised discussion - it just turns into name-calling and 'you're-wrong-I'm-right'.

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! This seriously needed to be said. Witty is suppose to be happy, free, and non-judgemental. But we are the exact opposite when we are stuck on opposite sides arguing about things we have no control over. So we just need to let it be, get along, and get over it. :)
