She`s afraid. Not of anything in particular. Just in general. Shecomes off as this girl that will take any risk that comes in herdirection. But she`s not the kind of girl that will go looking for trouble. & she`s the kind of girl that doesn`t know yet that it`s okayto take a chance. If everything falls apart, it wasn`t meant to be. If they don`t chase you, you weren`t anything special to them. It`s ahard thing to go through, but she`s just now realizing that shedoesn`t need them. That time goes on, & two years will pass in ablink of an eye. So she`s not gunna waste her time with fake friends, & lets be honest now, she wouldn`t of kept in touch with after high school anyways. She`s gunna enjoy her time & be the girlthat did something only others wished they could of.

 And they say we'll never see half as much as they did. It's true that we never saw Vietnam or World War II. We didn't see our mothers cry when John F. Kennedy died. We never sat in front of our TV screens in horror as we heard the news of the Columbia crash. But we've lived our whole lives being told that we're just not good enough. We've seen anorexia and bulimia because skinny just isn't skinny enough. We saw Columbine; Virginia Tech and watched the Twin Towers fall. We've seen a lot of greed and even more hate. Our generation fights a different kind of war. But we've seen just as much as them, and maybe even more. 

Pretty means that a girl has timeless beauty. She is beautiful now, & she will be beautiful when she's 80. cute is for the girls with greatpersonality. Girls who are hot don't look good if they go to class inbaggy sweats; a bed head without make-up. They're only attractive when they are fully dressed up. Girls who were considered as hot in high school are the same girls who are no longer attractive at 30.

A best friend is number one on your myspace, someone 
who your idea of a fun night with is staying up late prank 
phone calling your boyfriends friends when he's being a
jerk. Someone who you can just randomly wake up in the
middle of the night and say “lets go for a walk” because you
can’t sleep and they agree. A best friend is just simply someone
who is there for you through thick and thin...no matter what.
