a breeze was sweeping across the streets driven by the choris of fall.
the breeze was bringing in the children, and scurrying them along.
it began as one of those days where all is silent.
when the trees cast a moving shadow on the windows and white curtains.

out side of their homes, blocks away, waited their summer alarm clock.
being woken from trances, thoughts, and anticipation, a car horn honked.
we quickly grabbed our bags and shut the door behind us- leaving behind
everything and holding onto anything.
