today in my spanish class some kid asked why my teacher was wearing pink. This is how the conversation went.
teacher: well today is breast cancer awareness day and-
other kid: well they should've made it a wednesday, because on Wednesdays we wear pink.

HE WAS A GUY.

yesterday, my mom asked me who Amanda Todd was. I told her the whole story and this is what she said:
"Wow, she commited suicide? How cowardly. She probably didn't even have it that bad. And why did she cut? That's disgusting."

Tears were threatening to stream down my face.

I don't understand how someone can say self harming is attention seeking when we try our hardest to cover up our scars.
