The true picture of a champion is someone bent over, sweat dripping
from their face, their lungs on fire, feeling like if they take
another step they will pass out, but they keep pushing with no one
around to see just how hard they trained
I know when I stand out on the pitchers mound that I have one
competition to face. I take it one batter at a time. If you spend
your time worrying about the batter after this one, you won't have
time to enjoy what you can do with this one. Softball is more a
mental game then anything else. If you believe you can do it, you
can. If you believe you can't, then your right.
There is no I in team, which means you cant do it alone. The game
was designed so that even though you strike out, you still have to
go in the dugout. There you will face your team. There is when you
will be picked up and comforted.
It seems to strange to me how you can talk like we are just
friends, and not even see how much I love you, and how much more I
will love you if you would ever notice
