Chapter Three
"Hi," the mystery boy said as he stood in the doorway.  I'd say he was at least 6 foot.  He had the straightest and whitest smile I had ever see.
"Hi, we're the Bakers.  We live next door," my mom said pointing in the directions of our house, "these are my daughters, Sommer and Cait."
"Hi," me and Sommer chymmed in.
"Oh, okay.  Well come on in.  Everyone is in the kitchen."  We walked followed him in the kitchen and we were greeted by who I assume was his mother, his brother, and his sister.  They all stood together in a straight line.
"Hello!  You must be the Baker girls!  Come sit down!"  His mother said leading us all into their family room.
"Hi!  I'm Alexandra, and these are my two daughters, Sommer and Cait," my mom said.
"Hello girls.  I'm Tara Jarger.  This is my oldest boy, Kyle," she said pointing to the boy that let us in," and these are the twins, Bridget and John."
"Here, let me take those cupcakes from you.  You really didn't have to make them, thank you," Mrs. Jarger spoke again.  Her and my mom had walked back into the kitchen, so we assumed they wanted us to get to know each other.
"So, how old are you girls?"  John asked.  He was almost as cute as his brother.
"I'm 16, and Sommer is 17," I said.
"You guys wanna come up to my room?" Bridget asked.
"Lets go!"  We said as we went up to her room.
"Your brothers are pretty cute," Sommer said.  She was always one to go through someone's looks before their personalities.  Even though both boys seemed very nice.
"Oh, please," Bridget said rolling her eyes,"did you see them?  They were both drooling over you!"  We both blushed.
"So where you from?"  I asked Bridget, changing the subject.
"Denver.  It's freezing there!  You guys wanna go it the beach?"
"Sure, lets go get suits," Sommer smiled.  I could already tell she liked Bridget, taking a look at her closet.
"We're headed to the beach," I called in to the kitchen.  Our moms were still sitting in there drinking coffee.
"The beach?  Can we come?"  Kyle and John asked looking up from their xbox.
"Sure.  Go get you're bathing suits on and meet us in our driveway," I said, admiring John.

Author's Note- Sorry, I'm not sure when I'll be able to write again.  I've lost power due to Hurricane Irene, so please stay with me.  Feedback?

Chapter One

"Cait, Mom wanted me to tell you dinners ready," My older sister Sommer said as she barged into my room.  She's only eleven months older then me though.  Basically,she was only good for advice and clothes.  Otherwise she was a jerk.
"I'm coming," I said rolling my eyes and closing my Mac Book.  I walked down the steps behind Sommer.  It was always a quiter dinner table, since it was only my parents and me and Sommer.  We had just moved into this house 3 weeks ago, the day after school let out.
"So girls," My dad started, "Yesterday, after my run, I ran into the man who's moving in next door. It turns out he has a pair of twins Cait's age, a boy and a girl, and a Boy Sommer's age."
"Finally, maybe North Carolina wont be as bad!" I said.  I not only had to leave all my friends behind in Pennsylvania, but I was also bored to death here.
"How about this, I'll make a batch of cupcakes for the new family in the morning, and you girls can come overt with me to meet everyone.  You know, as soon as you wake up," My mom said knowing I don't wake up until 1:30, and Sommer could sleep all day if she wanted to.

Chapter 12.  (last chapter)
Alex's POV
*2 years later*
"Me mama, this is daddy," I said, pointing to myself then a picture of Reilly as I played with the Caityln. The twins were just starting to speak a little bit.  Me and Reilly had gotten married a little over 4 months ago, and he had to go back to the forces.  We had moved into our new house, without him, just last month.  I was going to college to be a teacher.
Leanne was still napping.  I heard her start to cry, so I ran upstairs, grabbed her from her crib, and got her a bottle.
"You're okay baby," I said as I handed her a bottle and set her down next to Caitlyn.  Just as I went to go start on some lunch, the doorbell rang.  I opened the door, and saw a man standing there holding an American flag.
"Um.. Hello.  Are you Mrs. Kerraston?"  He asked.
"Yes, thats me?" I said confused.
"Well, you're husband Reilly was shot in the back three afternoons ago.  He is.. no longer with us."

Author's Note- Thats it!!  Aww, I really enjoyed writing this story, but it was starting to get boring.  New ideas anyone?  Thank you for everyone who stuck with me this whole story!

Chapter 11.
Alex's POV
The twins were beautiful.  they had Reilly'r brown hair, and my ocean blue eyes.  It was weird having something to protect and care for.

I got to leave the hospital after two days.  Both the twins got to come with me.  The nurse wheeled me out of the hospital in a wheelchair and Reilly carried both of the babies in their matching pink car seats.  He was a great father already.  We got home, and I was beyond tired, but you know the deal after you just have a baby.   You had people visiting one after the other coming to visit.  Everyone wanted to see, hold, and play with the babies.  After about 5 hours of people visiting, I got to bed.  It was only 10:00 pm.  I put the twins in their cribs and turned on the baby monitor.  I started to walk out and leaned on the door.
"Oh darling, don't you ever grow up, don't you ever grow up, just stay this little.  Oh darling, don't you ever grow up, don't you ever grow up, it could stay this simple," I sang until Reilly walked up behind me and grabbed my waist.
"Ready for bed babe?" He asked.
"Yes!" I whispered as I shut the door.

Chapter 9.
Alex's POV
Even though we had cleaned out the soon to be nursery, we hadn't painted it yet.  We painted it a coral-pink color.  We were starting to buy everything.  Even though I haven't even had the baby's yet, I knew it was going to be hard.  Two of every outfit, two of every toy, two  of every diaper and bottle.  In the end I know it is going to be worth it.

I was driving home from my last day of work, when my phone rang.
"Hi Honey!" My mom said cheerfully.
"Hey mom, I'm running to CVS to buy pacifiers," I started,"Do you need anything while I'm there?"
"I... already went,"  She said, "Come right home."
"Okay." And with that I hung up the phone.  I pulled into the driveway, picked up the mail from the mailbox, and walked to the front door.
"Mom... I'm Hom-"
"SURPRISE!"
I looked around.  I saw all my High school friends, some people I work with, and some relatives.  A surprise baby shower!! How sweet.
Everyone started talking to each other.  It looked like the party had just started.  We talked, ate lunch, and had some cake.  Then it was time for presents.  I got outfits, dippers, gift-cards, bath-sets, bedding, bottles, pacifiers, and so much more.
It was finally time for everyone to leave.
"Thank you all so much for coming!" I said as all the guest pilled out the door.
"Thank you, mommy," I said.  It was just me, my mom, and my sisters now.
"It was mostly Kaylin's Idea.  We thought it would be easier on you with all the presents and everything."
"Thank you all," I smiled.

Author's Note- Comment and Fave!  I know it was kinda boring.

Chapter 7.  (Last chapter was supposed to be 6...sorry!)
Alex's POV
The next few months went on.  Me and Reilly had stopped writing letters and video chatted every other night.  Even though I missed being with him, seeing his face made everything better.  The troop leader was going to let Reilly be on deploy longer then everyone else around Christmas, because thats around the time the baby was due.
It was already the beginning of August.  I started school in the first week of September.  I still had a lot to do.
"Teresa!  Kaylin!  Lets go!" I shouted up the stairs.  I was taking them school shopping, because I had to go shopping too.  In the fall Teresa was going to be just a freshman in high school, and Kaylin was going to be a Junior.
~~~~~~~
We got to Staples to pick everything up.  We got mostly everything we needed but we still had to run to the Apple store to pick up my Mac Laptop my grandfather was buying me to go off to college with.
As I pulled into the parking lot I felt a kick on the right side of my stomach.
"Aww," I thought.  5 seconds later I felt a kick on the left side of my stomach.  That was weird.  Can a baby move that fast?
I took out my phone to call my mom.
"Hello?"
"Hey Mom, Its Alex.  I have a question."
"Well what is it honey?"
"Can a baby move all the way across my stomach in 5 seconds?" I asked
"Not usually, no.  You have an ultra sound appointment tomorrow, we'll ask the tech."
"Thanks mom, see you later."
