Someday
 

"In the corner." My dad pushed me against a wall.
"Dad, please, stop." He hadn't done anything yet, but I knew he would.
"Shutup." He scolded me. "Here," He handed me a white little pellet.
"What is this?" I asked, knowing it was some type of drug.
"It's your food now, eat up." I put it in my mouth and scrunched my face up. The taste. Awful. 'this is your food now' his words ran through my mind. I couldn't live like this. the lights were off. now was my chance to get out. Now or never.
"Where do you think your going?" he pushed me back against the wall and turned on the lights. I could see no escape.
"Absolutely not! You can't get out of here! I put you in this room for a reason! You think I'm stupid." He threw his hands up. He was drunk, and, yeah, a little stupid.

Okay, I know this is REALLY short, but I will have another 4 chapters up by tomorrow. Sorry I haven't posted in a while. My math teacher must be on her PERIOD! She has assigned us SOOOO much homework!!!

Someday
 

"How was school today kids?" Austins mom asked. It was akward being in the car with someone I barely knew.
"Good." I answered.
"I have 3rd and 4th block with Sophie." Austin blurted. We didn't live far from the school so there was only 10 minutes of this 'joy' ride.
"Really?" Austin's mom smiled at me from the rear view mirror.
"Yup." I stared out the window.
"I was wondering if you wanted to come to Parkers with us for a snack, Sophie." Austiin's mom offered.
"I gotta get home. My sister gets home like 10 minutes after me." I lied.
"Oh, well, then I quess we won't" She said. It was an akward car ride but I went along with it. Once I got inside I found my dad in the kitchen.
"Dad, shouldn't you be at your house. I can't be alone with you." I said. My dad did things like sell drugs and we went to court and my brother, sister, and I aren't allowed to be alone with him.
"You aren't alone." He gave me a smile.
"Look dad, just get out." I said. My jaw dropped when I saw two men pop up from nehind the counter and point their guns at me.
"Dad, please." He grabbed my wrist and took me outside. I saw him grab a rock from the driveway and I don't know what he did with it, I just remember everything going black. Nothing was right here.

Someday
 

I quickly grabbed my bookbag and rushed outside to find my friends, Bray and Sage.
"Hey, Soph! Over here!" I whipped around and saw my Bray flagging me down.
"Hey." I said dropping my bookbag at my feet when I caught up to her. "So, what information have you gathered about Austin?" I asked
"Nothing. Mr. Padores put us in total oppisite sides of the room." She huffed, I picked up my journal and opened it to a clean page.
"You had 2 days Bray. You sat next to him for 2 days." I scolded her and quickly joted down the words 'info. about Aus.'
"Aus? He hasn't even been here for a week and you already gave him a nickname?" She smiled.
"Well," I paused, "that's off topic,"
"So what is the topic, stalk Austin for life until you gather up the nerve to talk to him?" She asked
"No, I have plenty of nerve." I but down on my lip. "Just not enough facts."
"Is this what you did with me? Gather up enough facts to come talk to me. He's gonna catch on, Soph." She told me.
"I did not do that to you. Aus is different. There is something strange about that kid." I said.
"Why don't you write down that his mom drives a minivan." She pointed to Austin getting in his car.
"Crap, he's my ride home. Gotta go." I picked up my bookbag.
"He's your ride home?" Her eyebrows rised,
"Not exactly. He's my next door neighbor," I said running off. 
"You didn't tell me this!" She yelled from behing me.
"Sorry, I forgot someone totally misterious and umpleasent was my next door neighbor." I muttered to myself.
