Heart break.
Not once in my 23 years had I ever experienced something like this. Not when my girlfriend of 2 years broke up with me, not when I was 15 and saw my girlfriend cheating on me.
Never.
When Logan and I had been talking, I hadn't had time to comprehend anything. I spoke with impulse and everything she said didn't sink in.
“Why'd you date me if you weren't interested? For money? So you could go tell your friends? Why, Logan?”
“Money,” she said, looking down at her hands.
I was just a game, someone she used to get some extra cash. I sat down on my desk and closed my eyes, sighing heavily. Somebody knocked on the door and Kelly came in. I internally groaned as she walked towards me.
“Zach,” she said as she bit her lip seductively. “I was wondering about tonight? You never texted me back.” Kelly had texted me last period asking if I had wanted to go out for dinner tonight and I had just ignored her.
“Look, Kelly, I just got out of a pretty serious relationship.” I scoffed silently, at least I had thought it was a serious relationship.
“Oh, I didn't know you were dating anyone.” I didn't reply but got up from my desk.
“I need to go make a important phone call,” I lied.
“I'll see you later, Zach,” Kelly battered her eyelashes.
“Yeah,” I smiled weakly. Before my next class, I needed to get some air. I stayed outside until my next period. I would be teaching a group of year 8s and after lunch, I would be teaching Logans class.
That I was dreading.
Soon enough, I had to return to class and I was in a horrible mood. At least teaching would get my mind off this whole situation, my thoughts werevkilling me.
“Okay, guys,” I began. “I'm going to give you some questions and put on The Princess Bride, I want you to answer the questions which have something to do with the movie.” The class groaned as I put the movie on and sat on my desk a pile of papers which needed grading in front of me.
I stayed in my classroom all lunch, my phone kept going off but I ignored it and continued grading papers. Soon, it was time for Logans class. I kept grading papers as the class entered the room but every so often I'd look up to see if Logan had came in.
She never did.
As Courtney entered the room, she came up to my desk and asked, “Did you hear about the rumour?” I shook my head. “They say one of the teachers here are dating a student. Oh, I love scandal,” she winked before sitting in her seat. I frowned... she knew, she must of but she had said that, I had no idea.
When the class so settled and quietly talking to each other, I asked, “Where's Logan? I saw her this morning.”
“What a rebel!” One of the boys in the back, joked.
“Grace?” I asked after I had finished glaring at the jock.
“I don't know, I haven't seen her since History.”
“Okay,” I sighed not wanting to show how concerned I was. Where had she gone after she left my classroom? I shouldn't be concerned because she never really cared about me but I couldn't help the fact that no matter what,
I'd care about her.

I was speechless. I had nothing to say to him because I knew if I lied I would just make everything so much worse. Zach looked torn, truly torn and itvkilled me to know I was the reason he was hurt.
“Logan?” he asked after I didn't reply.
“Its nothing, Zach,” I shrugged, vaguely.
“You don't get to answer like that, Logan. You owe me an explantation.”
“You won't like the truth, Zach,” I said trying to act bored. I kept my face emotionless but inside I was slowly dying.
“Well lie to me,” he begged, helplessly. I had never seen anybody as vulnerable as Zach looked right now.
“I told you,” I said through gritted teeth.
“You told mevsh/t!” Zach hissed, trying to keep his voice down.
“What do you want me to tell you, Zach?! You don't want the truth but you don't want me to lie!”
“Did you ever even like me?” Zach asked, ignoring my outburst.
“Of course!” I exclaimed. “You would never understand.”
“Well obviously I wouldn't be able to understand if you didn't even explain anything! You never know, Logan, maybe I will.” This time his voice wasn't vulnerable or soft, it was filled with venom.
“You won't!” I shouted.
“We will never know if you don't tell me.”
“Okay, I'm sure you'll understand this and want to be with me,” I said sarcastically. I didn't wait for Zach to say anything back, I continued. “At the beginning, when I first got detention, I wanted to get it. I wanted to get closer to you and when we first started dating I didn't actually like you but its all changed! It has, I promise and now, now I realised how much of avb/tch I was and I do like you, Zach, I do.”
“Mr Parker,” Zach suddenly said.
“Sorry?” I asked.
“My name, you will address me as Mr Parker.” It wasn't supposed to end up like this, I wasn't supposed to pour my heart out like that. I was supposed to break up with him. I mean, him breaking up with me was probably better but not this way. He hated me and I didn't like that at all.
“Oh,” I murmured.
“Why'd you date me if you weren't interested? For money? So you could go tell your friends? Why, Logan?”
“Money,” I said quietly. I looked down shamefully not daring to look Zach in the eye.
With the little ounce of pride I had left, I walked out of the classroom. I didn't go back to class instead I made my way to the bathrooms and locked myself in one of the cubicles.
I covered my face with my hands as the tears started falling.

On Monday, I didn't want to go to school. There were a million and one things that would be better then going to school today.
Like going for a swim with some sharks or fleeing to Sweden and changing my name.
Today, I knew what I had to do. I had to break up with Zach.
This whole relationship was dangerous and even though, in the future I could see myself falling in love with him I knew it would never work. It wasn't meant to work, if it was everything would just fall into place.
Yesterday, Grace and I had gone and sold my car and went looking for a new one. One in particular caught my eye and I bought it and had a lot of money left over. After I got the money from Courtney I'd send it all to my mum from my dad. When I got to school, Courtney grabbed my arm and dragged me to a spot under the trees. We were away from everyone so nobody could see what we were doing.
“W-what-” Courtney cut me off.
“Here's your money,” Courtney spat. She handed me a bundle of money. “You're lucky I'm a girl who keeps her end of the deal.”
I felt so guilty at that moment that I thought of giving the money back.
“Thank you.”
“Are you going to break up with him?” she asked, her voice was as cold as ice.
“Yes,” I replied but didn't look her in the eye.
“You know, Logan, if you lie I will find out.”
“Good thing I'm not lying,” I muttered. “I need to go to class,” I said as I stuffed the money into my bag.
“Can I just text my mum? I forgot my phone at home.”
“Sure,” I shrugged as I handed her my phone. After she had texted her mum, she handed me my phone and walked off. I was about to walk inside the school but saw Courtney typing away on her phone... didn't she just say she left it at home?
I didn't think to much of it as I walked to Zachs room. The nerves were eating me alive as I knocked on his door, the door opened but Zach didn't open it, Miss Lake did. I furrowed my eyebrows, confused. Could they still be dating? Zach and I hadn't spoken much about Miss Lake but he had promised me that they have never dated nor would he ever date her.
“Logan, right?”
“Yeah... I just wanted to ask Mr Parker something about the assignment he gave us but I'll come back later,” I said, swiftly.
“Oh, that's okay. I was just leaving, I'll speak to you later Zach.” Zach didn't reply but when she left, closed and locked the classroom door. He walked up to me and kissed me. All thoughts of breaking up with him vanished as his lips moved in sync with mine but I pushed him away, I needed to do this. “Zach... I-I... I need to go bathroom!” With that, I hurried out of the room and as soon as I was out, I covered my face with my hands, breathing heavily.
I was in History when Zach walked into the classroom and whispered something to our teacher. She nodded her head and Zach said, “Miss Hant, may I speak to you?” I nodded my head and smiled weakly but he didn't return the smile.
“Y-yeah,” I stuttered. I walked behind Zach until we reached his room. He obviously had a free period now as his classroom was empty. He shoved his phone in my hands and I read the message.
How does it feel to know she was only with you for money - unknown
With the message there was the picture I had shown the girls of Zach and I.
“Logan, I saw Courtney giving you that money before school. What's going on?”

Hi, hi, hi! <3 So most of you know I usually do these so here I am (: Using Mr Parker is not finished. There will be around 10-15 chapters left. Some of you may remember that I uploaded the prologue of Us Against The World and then deleted it. I've written a couple of chapters of that story & I really like it. Beautiful Disaster is something different to most of my stories and the last two well, I'm not exactly sure how I feel about those stories but the first & second are my favourite c:

 “What are you doing here?”
“Well, uh... See Za- I mean Mr Parker was just helping me with some English home-work because I was stuck on something and he offered to help me and we didn't have anywhere else to study. I was just leaving see you,” With that I started walking to the door, nervously. Justin caught my wrist and frowned.
“Logan, what are you doing here?” He asked, firmly.
“Come on Justin, let go of her,” Zach said. Zach and I shared a look and I knew what it meant.
We had to tell Justin that we were dating.
“Justin, you know I love you so much.”
“Just tell me,” he huffed.
“Zach will!” I exclaimed and went to sit on the couch but Zach stopped me.
“Logan and I are dating,” Zach said and I winced not wanting to see Justin's reaction. His reaction was of pure shock and then disappointment. Justin was an important person in my life, what he thought meant the world to me.
“Why didn't you tell me?”
“Well, we were kind of keeping it a secret and I didn't know how you'd react. I'm sorry, Justin,” I said, softly.
“I wouldn't have told anyone.” Zach and I didn't say anything and after a few moments Justin sighed. All of a sudden my phone rang and I saw it was my mum.
“I'm just going to get this; it's my mum,” I said and walked into the kitchen. “Hello?” I answered.
“Logan? Baby, where are you?”
“Just at a friends house,” I told her.
“Oh, I was just calling to see if you wanted to go shopping but doesn't matter. We can go next week.”
“No, it's okay, I want to come. I'll just say bye and then come.”
“Logan, you don't have to. It's not a big deal, stay with your friends.”
“Mum, I want to. I'll be there soon. Bye!” I hanged up and saw Justin and Zach talking quietly to each other. They were glaring at each other as Zach said something. I walked closer and they noticed me. “I'm going to go home, my mum needs me.”
“Alright, I'll take you,” Zach said directing his attention to me.
“Okay, are you sure?”
“Yeah, let me go tell the guys. Justin, are you staying here?”
“Of course,” Justin said through gritted teeth. Zach walked off and I walked to Justin.
“Don't you dare be avdick to Zach, its not illegal what we're doing. Get over it, Justin, this is my life.”
“Logan, I'm just trying to protect you. I don't want you to get hurt,” Justin said sincerely.
“I know and I'm grateful for that but Zach won't hurt me. I trust him.” That statement was nothing but the truth. I'd hurt him in the end. Zach and I left after I said my goodbyes and didn't talk all the way to my house. I didn't get out straight away, I just sat there.
“Everything's going to be alright,” Zach sighed.
No it's not, I wanted to say but kept my mouth shut. I nodded and leaned in to kiss Zach, he happily placed his lips on mine and I wrapped my hands in his hair while he placed his hand on my cheek and kissed me tenderly. This kiss wasn't frantic or anything like our kisses in the past, it was amazing. Sparks ran through my body as I tried to get closer to him,
knowing this was our last kiss.

To be honest, I hadn't had this much fun in a long time. Zach was a laugh and I was already jealous of the girl who would one day marry him.
“What are you thinking so hard about?”
“Oh,” I shook my head. “Nothing.”
“You sure?” he asked.
“Yeah,” I smiled. He smiled back and we walked out of the small diner we had found while we were driving back to his apartment. When he had parked we got out and walked up to to his apartment to be greeted by 3 guys I didn't recognise.
“Guys,” Zach said slowly. “What are you doing here?”
“We thought we'd come past and well, you know how you leave the key under the mat but we can you're busy,” the brown haired guy said.
“Yes I am,” Zach sighed. “This is Logan, my girlfriend and Logan these are my friends.”
“I'm Max,” the one that had spoke before said. He had brown hair which was spiked up and brown eyes.
“And I'm James,” the one with short blonde hair said. The other man had brown hair and blue eyes but didn't say anything. 
“That's Xavier,” Zach told me.
“Hi,” I said, shyly.
“Why are you two wearing wigs?” James questioned confusion laced in his voice.
“We went to the movies,” Zach explained. They didn't press any further and I wondered if they knew about me being his student or if Zach hadn't mentioned that so I kept my mouth shut.
“So this is the famous Logan you've been talking about. You're right, she's gorgeous,” Max winked at Zach. I blushed a dark shade of red and Zach laughed softly, wrapping his arms around.
“Yes,” he said, grinning.
“I should go...” My voice trailed off as I looked into Zachs eyes. They were the bluest eyes I had ever seen.
“Stay?” he pouted and I smiled.
“Do your friends know about us?” I asked, suddenly. His friends were playing some game on the playstation.
“Yep,” he said as he lowered his lips onto mine and softly bit my lip, asking for entrance but I kept my mouth firmly closed. Zach groaned and nibbled on my lip softly once again. I smiled up against his lips and Zach took this as his chance to slip his tongue into my mouth. I didn't feel exactly comfortable freely making out in front of his friends so I pulled away.
“Uh-uh,” I giggled as he groaned loudly. Somebody knocked on the door and I asked, “Who is that?”
“I don't know, I'll get it.”
“You stay here, I'll get it,” I said, quickly getting up and looking through peek hole. I was shocked to see Justin standing there. It made sense I guess, he and Zach were friends. I walked back to where Zach was sitting.
“Justin's here,” I hissed and his eyes widened.
Suddenly the door opened and in came Justin. “Why did it take you so long to open, I had to use that key that you hid- Logan?”
“Uhm... hi, Justin?” I said in a questioning tone.

The next day, once again, I got ready to go over Zachs house. I knew for a fact I wasn't meeting up with tomorrow because he was going to his parents so this was the last time Zach and I would be together. I had to break up with him, no matter how much I liked him this wouldn't work out.
Maybe in another life, I thought as I arrived at Zachs apartment. When I got inside his apartment, he greeted me with a kiss.
“Hey,” I said, after our kiss finished.
“Hey,” he grinned and kissed my forehead. “Here,” Zach suddenly said as he handed me a blonde wig and sunglasses. I furrowed my eyebrows.
“Why are you giving me these?” I questioned, confusion clear in my voice.
“Because we're going out on a proper date,” he chirped, happily and I smiled.
“How are we going to go on a proper date? If someone see's us we'll be in h-”
“I know, I know,” Zach sighed. “But I have an idea, just put the wig on.” I did as I was told and then put the sunglasses on. I walked with Zach to the bathroom so I could see myself in the mirror. I almost didn't recognise myself, the glasses were large and dark so they covered some of my face and the wig looked real. “See, nobody will recognise you.”
Zach left the bathroom for half a minute and when he came back he was wearing a wig that covered most of his face. The wig was long, layering around his face and heavy bangs were covering one of his eyes fully. I started laughing, hysterically. 
“Oh my gosh,” I panted, still laughing.
“Wow Logan, you sure know how to make a man feel good about his hair,” Zach joked.
“Your hair looks amazing,” I chuckled as I ran my hand through his wig.
“Are you ready to leave, ma'am?” The way Zach said 'ma'am' was sovsexy it wasn't funny. He held his hand out for me and I gladly took it. We drove to the movies and I smiled. We got out of the car and Zach put his hoody on before holding my hand. It felt amazing to be able to hold his hand in public. “What movie do you want to watch?” He asked.
“Anythings fine,” I shrugged.
“C'mon, you must want to watch something.”
“Oh, so if I said I wanted to watch some romantic movie, would you?” I questioned.
“Yes,” he said and I could tell he was being completely honest. At that moment I just wanted to reach up and pinch Zachs cheek.
“You are so adorable,” I giggled. Zach leaned down and placed his lips on mine for a second before pulling away. “So about that movie, how about we watch that new horror one?”
"Logan, if you want to touch me you don't need a reason.” I rolled my eyes, playfully punching Zach in the shoulder. We ended up watching the horror movie and if I was completely honest, I hated watching horror movies. The suspensevkills me, I can't handle horror movies. I was clinging onto Zach most of the movie and my face was buried into his chest.
“I'm not scared of horror movies,” Zach mimicked me after the movie finished.
“I'm not!” I exclaimed.
I have nail marks to prove it on my arm,” he told me, chuckling. I blushed in embarrassment.
Zach just laughed more.

Every morning I would wake up and think to myself there are only so many days left until this week would be over. Zach had become the only thing I would think about. I never wanted this week to end. It frightened me to know that there was only 3 days left until the week ended.
Then what would the reason for me dating Zach be?
On Friday, I got ready to go to Zachs apartment. Grace was over and I was going through all my clothes. “I don't know what to wear,” I huffed.
“Where are you two going?” she asked.
“Just his apartment.”
“Well its warm tonight, what about these?” She asked as she pulled a pair of denim high waisted shorts out. I looked at her, shaking my head but she threw the pair on my bed and picked up a black, baggy singlet. “Put the shorts and the top on.” I did what she said and smiled, actually liking how it looked together. “I think your hair would look good in just a simple bun,” Grace said, thoughtfully.
“Like this?” I asked, pulling my hair up.
“Yes!” she exclaimed and then gave me a pair of silver hoops. I also put on a silver necklace that had three triangles hanging from the bottom. My make-up was done simply, a little bit of eyeshadow and some mascara. I picked up my pair of black converses and sat on my bed to put them on. “What are you doing? No, put these shoes on!” She gave me a pair of shoes with studs on the heels. I remembered buying these. Grace and I had gone shopping and at the time I really liked them but I had never worn them before.
“Aren't they a bit much?” I asked once I had put them on.
“No, they make the outfit now go out and get your man,” Grace winked. I didn't understand why she acting so care free about Zach and I.
“Grace, you don't have to be alright with this.”
Grace smiled, cheekily, like she knew something I didn't. “I am now, it's all good. Come to the car so you're not late. You really have to get a car, how 'bout on Sunday we got shopping for one and sell yours?”
“I'd like that,” I told her. Grace drove to Sachs apartment and I got out. I walked to his apartment, knocking on the door and a few moments after, Zach opened the door.
“Hey,” he greeted and pecked my lips.
“Hi.”
“You look beautiful.”
“Thank you,” I blushed. We walked in and I was greeted by the aroma of something that I couldn't put a name on. “You cooked?” I asked.
“The only thing I can,” he told me. “Lasagne.”
“It smells so good,” I told him, honestly. We ate dinner in peace, it felt amazing to finally be able to hang out with him we haven't all week. We ended up on the couch, watching a movie, half way through I looked up to see Zach sleeping and smiled. He was truly amazing, something special. Every time we kissed I would feel sparks that I had never experienced before. It was like it was meant to be.
Staring up at Zach, I realised that I was falling for him.

On Sunday, I got a phone call and was shocked to see the caller id was from Grace. “Hello?” I answered.
“Logan,” she sniffled.
“Grace? What's wrong?” I questioned.
“W-will,” she stuttered.
“I'll be over in 5,” I said before hanging up and running downstairs to find my mum. “Mum, can you take me to Graces?” I asked.
“Of course, dear, in five minutes?”
“No, no, now.”
“Okay, let's go.” My mum drove me to Graces house, I got out and knocked on the front door to be greeted by her mum.
“Logan, sweetie, Grace is upstairs. I don't know what's wrong, she's been in her room since yesterday.”
I nodded, “I'm going to go see her.” I walked up to Graces room and knocked on the door.
“Leave me alone, mum!” She yelled. “I told you I didn't want to talk!”
“It's Logan, Grace!”
“Okay, come in.” I opened her bedroom door to see Grace sitting in her bed, used tissues everywhere. Her fiery red hair was tied up into a bun and her eyes were puffy.
"Hey, hey, Grace it's alright,” I murmured going to give her a hug. She hugged me back and we stayed like that for a good five minutes. “Ready to tell me what's wrong?” I asked.
“W-will broke up with me... he-he took myvvirginity and then when I woke up in the morning he wasn't there. I thought that maybe he had to go home for something but when I called him later and he broke up with me.”
“Will is a no goodvprick who deserves to have hisvdick cut off,” I announced and Grace cracked a smile. “Now theres that smile, how about you get out of your sweats and we'll go shopping?”
“I'm sorry for going off at you on Friday, I-I just don't want you to get in trouble.”
“I know and I won't, soon this is all going to be over,” I sighed.

On Monday, at lunch all the girls and I sat together. “So, what'd you want to tell us?” Courtney asked. I pulled my phone out.
"I'm dating Mr Parker,” I said, trying to look proud as I showed the girls the photo. I would never actually be proud because what I was doing was disgusting.
“I never thought you'd be the one to date him,” Rachel said, bluntly.
“You better make sure you're dating for a week if not, no money,” Courtney glared at me.
“Of course.” Courtney huffed in defeat.
“So are you and Gracie over here back to being best friend?” Jasmine asked, curiously.
“Yeah,” Grace replied biting her lip.
“So, Logan, how does it feel to kiss Mr Parker?” Sasha questioned.
“Like kissing any other guy,” I answered.
“I'm sure you've kissed plenty of guys,” Courtney scoffed, sarcastically.
The last period I had of the day was English and as I walked in, I couldn't help but feel horrible.
The guilt was eating me alive
but I deserved it.

“Pizza it is,” he said. I stared at him, intensely, taking his appearance. I had never met someone so perfect. “What?” he asked and I just shook my head, smiling to myself. While Zach and I waited for the pizza to be delivered we talked to each other about nothing in particular. Somebody knocked at the door and I got up to answer the door.
“That was quick,” I said.
“I'll get it, you sit down, Logan.”
“I have legs, you know,” I teased and he smirked, kissing my cheek before opening the door. That single kiss on my cheek made my heart flutter and it felt like I had elephants walking around in my stomach. I picked up a photo frame, the picture was of Zach with a man and woman who must have been his parents. Hearing footsteps, I looked up to be greeted by a young man strolling into the apartment. He looked a lot like Zach but had a boyish look to him.
“Who are you and why don't I have your number?” the guy asked, a cheeky grin on his face.
“Blaze, I told you to leave,” Zach huffed. “Logan, this is my brother, Blaze and Blaze, this is my girlfriend Logan.”
“Hi,” I said to Blaze.
“When did you get a girlfriend?” Somebody knocked on the door.
“I'll get it,” I told Zach. I opened the door to find a guy dressed in a uniform with pizza in his arms. After receiving the pizza, I walked to the kitchen and placed them on the bench. I walked back to were Blaze and Zach were talking and as I did, I overheard their conversation.
“She's your student?” Blaze hissed.
“Bl-”
“What were you thinking, Zach? Do you realise how much trouble you could get into if anyone found out? I get it, she's hot but she's a minor!”
“She's a year younger than you, Blaze. Our relationship is legal, it's just against the school rules. B, I really like her and I don't needvshit from you.”
“Who knows about your relationship?”
“Nobody, now we can talk later, just go.” I didn't like the fact that by me dating Zach it would affect his relationship with his brother. Zach had explained to me how close he and Blaze were. Blaze got up off the couch and sighed.
“No matter who you date, Z, I'm your brother, I just don't want you to get in any trouble.”
“I won't,” Zach promised. I took that as my chance to walk in. “What took you so long?” Zach questioned.
“Justin called,” I lied.
“Right, well I was leaving. Bye Logan, bye Zach.” I smiled sweetly at Blaze.
“Bye, nice meeting you.” Zach and I then went to eat and a though occurred to me. I needed proof that we were dating. A picture would be good proof, so after dinner I got my phone out. “Smile!” I grinned and snapped a photo of Zach. “I need a new wallpaper,” I teased.
“Hey!” I giggled, running from Zach. When he caught up to me, he wrapped his arms around my waist and reached out for my phone. With that, he took a photo of us both and then placed his lips on mine as he took another picture.
Despite this all being a game, there was only one way I could describe how this moment felt.
