Once upon a
time
there was a beautiful
angel. Most everyone liked her. Not only
was she gorgeous, but
she was also had a fantastic personality. But of course this made
some of the other angels
extremely jealous. So the jealous angels got
together and came up with a plan. They dec-
-ided they would push the
beautiful angel from Heaven. She
fell to Earth, and was
immediately frightened by the world
around her. There was such
unimaginable pain,
suffering, cruelty, tragedy and
heartbreak. It was as though her soul was too pure,
too
innocent. She loved too hard,
she cared too much. How was
it fair? She ventured
further into the new world,
feeling so very vulnerable as though her
halo had fallen &
her wings had broken. How was she
supposed to go on? How was she to live in
such
a place? But give
up, she did not. Although all that she
had was crumbling around her,
she clung to what she had left. She clung to hope
that a better day was just around the
corner. No matter how much hurt she felt, & no
matter how lonely and broken she was,
she never ever gave up. She
tried to see the light in
the darkness, and never left
that world take her smile
from her face. A few years
later, she woke up to
birds
chirping & the
beautiful sky stretching as far as
the eye could see. She also
woke
with a realization. Yes, she
had suffered through pain for
so long- but she had
survived. She had looked Life
right in the eyes & held
her ground. Life had smiled
right back at her, & grew to
respect her. It wasn't that Life
was trying to break her;
it was simply that Life was
creating her. Life was preparing her for
her future. She
learned so many things, including
her own strength. She also learned that Life did not
owe her a single thing. She grew to hold everything she
loved close to her, even if that
made her vulnerable. She didn't care; she learned that
it was worth it. Yes, sometimes
people would hurt you, betray you, or
turn out to be someone else completely; but there
were also good people. Amazing people. Everyone
that had been in and out of her life
had a purpose. They taught her something, and helped
her to grow. She realized that
after so much had happened, she had finally found peace. She was
content, she was
happy; she had found her Heaven
on Earth and she did not regret a
single thing.
