Chapter four:

Anna's pov:
I grinned because he looked so happy. Maybe he was as axcited as I was. Lulu and Cole stared at us, with their jaws hanging. "Erm, Lulu, this is Will, Will this is Lulu. Oh and that's Cole. They are my best friends and they are dating." Will shook both their hands, and Lulu whispered in my ear, "Ooo, he's ca-ute!" I blushed because it was so true. "So how did you guys meet? I've never seen you around, because well, you're a tourist," said Cole, sounding disgusted when he spoke the word tourist. I stepped in and said, "We met at the sandwich shop today." Cole nodded, and Lulu had a goofy, stupid smile on her face. She hit Cole on the arm, and said, "Well it's nice to meet you Will." Will smiled and said, "Pleasure's mine." We stood there in awkward silence not knowing what to do next, when I grabbed Will's wrist and whispered in his ear, "Let's go for a walk."

Will's pov:
After I was introduced to Anna's friends, we all stood there, silent, unaware of what to do. I looked around, when a small hand grabbed my wrist, and a soft voice whispered in my ear, "Let's go for a walk." I turned and Anna was looking at me, her eyebrows raised. I nodded, and Anna said to her friends, "We are just gonna go for a walk." Cole glared at me, while Lulu winked. "Have fun you two- but not to much fun," Lulu joked. Anna shot her a look, and dragged me away. I waved to both of them. Lulu was friendly, but I don't think Cole liked me much. Anna and I walked down the beach, side by side, taking in the beauty of the night. Anna broke the silence and said, "Sorry about my friends." I shrugged and assured her that there was nothing wrong. "Well about Cole. He'll warm up to you. He just doesn't like tourists. But you're different." That last part she added quietly. I looked at her and asked, "How so?" She blushed and mumbled, "I didn't think you heard that." I nudged her and said, "I hear everything." She giggled and said, "When you walked into that shop, I don't know, I felt something. Like a connection between us. Stupid right?" She looked down, and I turned her towards me. I lifter her chin up with my hand, and looked in to her beautiful eyes and said, "Not at all."

Chapter three:

 Anna's pov:
When I arrived at the beach, most of the people from my school were already there, and it was still a small crowd. I started looking for my Lulu, when I spotted her holidng hands with...Cole? Cole was my other best friend, and they always tease each other, and get in stupid little fights all the time. Why were they holding hands? I walked over and said, "Hi guys." They both jumped and turned around. Lulu's eyes widened, and Cole was looking around. "Hey Anna! Umm, you didn't text me when you were here..," said Lulu. "Sorry. I didn't know I was interrupting something." Lulu blushed and Cole looked down. "What's going on," I asked them. Cole and Lulu looked at each other, and stayed silent. "Well," I said. Finally Cole, who hadn't said anything, answered, "Well, uhh, me a-and Lulu, are uh, uk..-" Lulu cut him off by finishing the sentence. "Dating. We are dating." They both stood there looking at me, waiting for my responce. I stood there taking it all in for a second. Then I yelled in excitement, "I knew it! I always knew you two would end up together!" I brought both of them in for a hug, and they let out a sigh of relief, and hugged me back. After we pulled away, they both smiled at each other, and kissed. I winced. It's gonna take me a while to get use to this, being the lonely third wheeler I am. I awkwardly looked around, and saw him across the beach.

Will's pov:
She looked my way, and we made eye contact. She stared at me, and I knew she recognized me. I shook my arms a little, and took in a deep breath. I worked up the courage to go over and talk to her. I started to make my way towards her, and every step closer I got to her, the more nervous I got. When I got up to her I tried speaking, but I was speechless. She was absolutely beautiful. She smiled at me and said, "Y-you were right. We would be seeing each other around." I let out a breath and finally got the bravery to speak. "I...I was hoping we would," I said, with a little voice crack. Damn nerves. She giggled and looked down. I hope that wasn't to stupid. "Um, I'm Will by the way." She looked up, and into my eyes. Her eyes were so pretty. "I'm Anna," she said with a grin on her face. Her eyes were twinkling, and her face was glowing, and it wasn't just because of the flames from the fire. Maybe she was just as happy to see me, as I was to see her.

Chapter two

Anna's pov:
"Hope to see you around," he said. He shut the door and walked out, leaving me there in a daze. I replayed everything that lead up to that moment in my head like a movie over and over again, all the way 'til closing time. I flipped the open sign to closed, and locked the door. As I walked down the boardwalk, I looked out at the water. The waves rolled in, and out. The sun  was setting on the ocean. Seagulls flying in the air. Sandcastles lined up and down the shore. I was so grateful to live in a beautiful place like Citrus Town, no matter how cheesy the name was. A small breeze blew my hair around. I sighed and kicked a small pebble with my feet. I took the long path to my house, because it was such a beautiful night. Not to hot, not to cold. Warm with a slight breeze. Once I reached my front door, my phone vibrated. A text from my bff, Lulu . "You going to the party tonight??" I replied with a yes. Within 10 seconds she replied, "Great. I have news for you. See you there! love ya xoxo" I shut my phone and put it in my back pocket. I opened the front door and yelled out "Mom? Dad?" No answer. I called them and reminded them I was going to the bonfire tonight. I ran upstairs and took off my work clothes and traded them with jean shorts, a floral tanktop, and gold flip-flops. I brushed my blonde hair, and put a little bit of mascara and lipgloss on. I sent Lulu a text saying "Leaving now," as I headed out the door.

Will's pov:
Some kids around my age were talking about some bonfire at the beach tonight, and I was debating if whether I should go or not. There was a slight chance she could be there, and even if she isn't, I still wanted to make some friends since I'll be here all summer. I strolled down the boardwalk, and kept walking until I saw a group of many high-schoolers hanging on the beach, surrounded by, surprise, a bonfire. I nervously walked over, and out of the large group of people, the first person I saw, was the girl at the sandwich shop.

*sorry it's been so long, I've had a rough week, but it's over, and i'm back, and I'll try to post everyday! next chapter will be alot better...i had writers block lol

Chapter one

Anna's pov:

I know he didn't live here. He wasn't another familiar face, he wasn't someone I grew up with. He was a tourist. But he wasn't just another tourist. There was something about him, when he walked into the room, that made my heart beat faster, and my stomach do little flips. It was like love at first sight. I sat up in my chair, and wiped the sweat from my forehead with the palm of my hand. I smoothed out my shirt, and fixed my hair. Hopefully I didn't look that bad. He walked up to the counter and I opened my mouth to say something but all that came out was, "Eep."
He laughed and ran his hands through his brown hair. He studied the menu and that's when I studied him. He had green eyes, and a light sprinkle of freckles. He was wearing a wet white t-shirt showing off his perfect torso. My jaw dropped, and I just sat there in awe. When he turned towards me, I immediately closed my mouth. "Could I please have the beach buggy sub? And some water?" I nodded and got up to make his sandwich. Yes, I'm the type of girl that has to make guy's sandwiches. I looked over at him, and we locked eyes. I think he was staring at me.

Will's (the hot guy) pov:

After taking a tour of Citrus town, my stomach started to growl. I checked my watch. 2:45. I walked up and down the boardwalk searching for something to eat and I passed this little sandwich shop called "Citrus town sandwiches." It looked like the type of shop that belongs in one of these small towns. I came from New York, so I wasn't used to cute little shops, family owned, and being in an enviroment that everyone knew each other. I opened the door, and little bells rang above me. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the girl sitting at the counter. She was gorgeous. She looked up at me, and her eyes widened. She probably thought I was hideous. I had just come from the beach, and it's hot out, so I'm sweating like a pig. I started to air myself out so I could relax a little. I walked over to the counter, where the girl was. She opened her mouth and said, "Eep." I laughed. Not because it was stupid, because it was adorable. She blushed and looked down. I ran my hands through my hair, and pretented to study the menu. I was actually just trying to think of something to say so I wouldn't sound stupid. "Could I please have the beach buggy sub? And some water?" She nodded and went over to make my sandwich. I watched as she got out the bread, and cut it in half. She was so intense at sandwich making. My type of girl. I inspected her from head to toe. She was average height, maybe 5'5, and was tan. She had straight blond hair thrown up into a ponytail. I also noticed when I was at the counter her gorgeous blue eyes. She was stunning. I stood there, gawking at her beauty when she turned to look at me. I immediately looked away. She started walking towards me, and she handed me the sandwich and the water. She said, "Umm, that w-will be 4.64." I handed her a $10 bill. She started to collect the change, and as she handed it to me, I grabbed her hand and said, "Keep it," and smiled.
"I couldn't," she replied. "Please." She raised her eyebrows and said, "Whatever floats your boat. Thank you." I shrugged like it was no big deal. "No thank you." She smiled. Gosh. She had perfect white teeth. I waved and started to walk away and before I shut the door I said, "Hope to see you around."

sorry this one was extremely long, but I had to let you kinda get the feeling of our new character will!

Introduction

Anna's pov:

I lived in a small town where everybody knew everyone. People were friendly and welcoming. I knew every face, every personality so well, like it was my own self. During the summer, tourists come, and that means back to work. My family owned a small sandwich shop on the boardwalk, considering we lived on the beach.
It was just another hot day at the shop. It was the summer after sophomore year and I was 16, so it was legal to work at the shop now, not that my parents cared. My 6 year old brother and 12 year old sister work too. I had my straight blond hair up in a ponytail, red t-shirt on that said "Citrus town sandwiches! Fresh, delicious, and the best around!", cutoff jean shorts, and flip flops on. Sweat was trickling down my cheeks. I looked at the clock. 2:30 pm. The hottest time of day. I felt and looked like sh*t, not that i cared. I knew everyone in town, and tourists never come back, so  why do I care if they remember me as the ugly girl? I sat there in boredom staring at the clock, when the bells above the door jingled, signaling someone was coming in. I looked up, and that was the first time I ever saw him.

sorry it's not quality writing or an amzing start, but it's my first story, and I didn't know how to start it, but it will be better. should I keep going?
