Sixt eenth Summer.
I know he didn't live here. He wasn't another familiar
face, he wasn't someone I grew up with. He was a tourist.
But he wasn't just another tourist. There was
something about him, when he walked into the room, that made my
heart beat faster, and my stomach do little flips. It was like
love at first sight. I sat up in my chair, and wiped the sweat
from my forehead with the palm of my hand. I smoothed out my
shirt, and fixed my hair. Hopefully I didn't look
that bad. He walked up to the counter and I opened my
mouth to say something but all that came out was,
"Eep."
He laughed and ran his hands through his brown hair. He studied
the menu and that's when I studied him. He had green eyes,
and a light sprinkle of freckles. He was wearing a wet white
t-shirt showing off his perfect torso. My jaw dropped, and I
just sat there in awe. When he turned towards me, I immediately
closed my mouth. "Could I please have the beach buggy sub?
And some water?" I nodded and got up to make his sandwich.
Yes, I'm the type of girl that has to make guy's
sandwiches. I looked over at him, and we locked eyes. I think
he was staring at me.
Will's (the hot guy) pov:
After taking a tour of Citrus town, my stomach started to
growl. I checked my watch. 2:45. I walked up and down the
boardwalk searching for something to eat and I passed this
little sandwich shop called "Citrus town sandwiches."
It looked like the type of shop that belongs in one of these
small towns. I came from New York, so I wasn't used to cute
little shops, family owned, and being in an enviroment that
everyone knew each other. I opened the door, and little bells
rang above me. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was
the girl sitting at the counter. She was gorgeous. She looked
up at me, and her eyes widened. She probably thought I was
hideous. I had just come from the beach, and it's hot out,
so I'm sweating like a pig. I started to air myself out so
I could relax a little. I walked over to the counter, where the
girl was. She opened her mouth and said, "Eep." I
laughed. Not because it was stupid, because it was adorable.
She blushed and looked down. I ran my hands through my hair,
and pretented to study the menu. I was actually just trying to
think of something to say so I wouldn't sound stupid.
"Could I please have the beach buggy sub? And some
water?" She nodded and went over to make my sandwich. I
watched as she got out the bread, and cut it in half. She was
so intense at sandwich making. My type of girl. I inspected her
from head to toe. She was average height, maybe 5'5, and
was tan. She had straight blond hair thrown up into a ponytail.
I also noticed when I was at the counter her gorgeous blue
eyes. She was stunning. I stood there, gawking at her beauty
when she turned to look at me. I immediately looked away. She
started walking towards me, and she handed me the sandwich and
the water. She said, "Umm, that w-will be 4.64." I
handed her a $10 bill. She started to collect the change, and
as she handed it to me, I grabbed her hand and said, "Keep
it," and smiled.
"I couldn't," she replied. "Please."
She raised her eyebrows and said, "Whatever floats your
boat. Thank you." I shrugged like it was no big deal.
"No thank you." She smiled. Gosh. She had perfect
white teeth. I waved and started to walk away and before I shut
the door I said, "Hope to see you around."
sorry this one was extremely long, but I had to let you kinda
get the feeling of our new character will!

Sixt eenth Summer.
I lived in a small town where everybody knew everyone. People
were friendly and welcoming. I knew every face, every
personality so well, like it was my own self. During the
summer, tourists come, and that means back to work. My family
owned a small sandwich shop on the boardwalk, considering we
lived on the beach.
It was just another hot day at the shop. It was the summer
after sophomore year and I was 16, so it was legal to work at
the shop now, not that my parents cared. My 6 year old brother
and 12 year old sister work too. I had my straight blond hair
up in a ponytail, red t-shirt on that said "Citrus town
sandwiches! Fresh, delicious, and the best around!",
cutoff jean shorts, and flip flops on. Sweat was trickling down
my cheeks. I looked at the clock. 2:30 pm. The hottest time of
day. I felt and looked like sh*t, not that i cared. I knew
everyone in town, and tourists never come back, so why do
I care if they remember me as the ugly girl? I sat there in
boredom staring at the clock, when the bells above the door
jingled, signaling someone was coming in. I looked up, and that
was the first time I ever saw him.
sorry it's not quality writing or an amzing start, but
it's my first story, and I didn't know how to start it,
but it will be better. should I keep going?
