So I'm singing in a
concert...
I'm
singing for my voice studio's halloween concert, and
yesterday my teacher introduced us to Kayla.
Kayla has down
sydrome, and she wanted to sing in
the concert. My teacher asked us to sing in the
background. None of us knew what to expect when she started
singing. She sang defying gravity from Wicked. It was broken,
but beautiful. She really sang her heart out. I'm proud
that I get to participate in such a wonderful solo for her. I
hope that I can live my life to the fullest just like
Kayla. Even though she has a disadvantage, she's doing
what she wants.
