Chapter 40
I was at the nurse’s office when I woke up. She was looking at something and had her back turned to me. My lashes fluttered before opening wide. I took a look around before speaking.
“Why am I here?” I murmured, voice croaky.
She turned to me. “Hello, dear! I can see you just woke up”.
I glanced over at my body. “Obviously. Why am I here, though?”
“You fainted” she explained. “They brought you here. Finally, after two hours I thought you weren’t gonna wake up”.
“Two hours? I have to go home!” I said, trying to get up.
She helped me up. “Okay, but I want you to do something when you go there”.
I blinked, walking to the door. “What’s that?”
“A few questions first. Have you had any other symptoms other than fainting? Like, throwing up let’s say? Or having headaches and not wanting to eat?” she questioned me carefully.
I closed my eyes briefly, trying to remember. “Yes, yes I think”. Headaches have increased lately and I just couldn’t eat lunch without getting this weird taste in my mouth which was a sign of an upcoming vomiting.
Her glance was cloudy as she looked at me. I gave her a questioning wide–eyed look, which seemed to drag her attention from me. She turned around and I was facing her back for a couple of minutes. I was about to go when she turned around and handed me a box. “Do this at home. Don’t tell me the results” she whispered, narrowing her eyes slightly.
I casted an eye on the box, before choking on my own saliva. A pregnancy test?
“Y–You m–mean…I might be…pregnant?” I stuttered.
Her look was harsh and rough. “We can’t know. You might be sick too. We just need to be sure. Don’t tell me the results; I don’t need to know”.
I blinked, before twisting the handle of the door. “Thank you” I whispered before going out of the nurse’s office and running towards the exit. I threw the pregnancy test inside my bag and walked home, almost running. I must tell no one. If my mother finds out I’m pregnant, I’ll have so much explaining to do. Oh, wait. I might not be pregnant. I might be just sick, which will save me from lots of things.
I unlocked the front door of my house and entered the building fast. No one was there except for Sally. Sally is our maid who’s sometimes here. She’s not always here though; she has her own family to take care of. She’s not the exact definition of maid, but never mind.
I greeted her and ran upstairs. I burst into my room and locked the door behind me. I fished the box from my bag and pulled it out carefully. I threw my bag across the room and walked to the bathroom. I closed the door and took the test. Then, I walked outside again, stopping in front of my beauty parlor. I looked at the mirror and I could see the worried look on my face. I started pacing back and forth, waiting for the results. I read the instructions and it said the results come out in ten minutes max. I should wait.
I looked around, then shyly at my hands. No results yet. Oh Lord, if I was pregnant, what would I do? I’m 100% sure it’s Everett’s baby and now he hates me. Even if I did talk to him, he would reject me and push me around. I would be completely alone.
No bad thoughts. You have to stay positive, Evelyn. Yeah, just like my pregnancy test. Ugh, why am I assuming things? I might be just sick after all! I really need to calm down.
Ten minutes passed. I inhaled deeply and my eyes turned shyly to the test in my hands. I uncovered its surface and saw what I had to see.
It was positive. I was pregnant.

"He is bad news..."
Chapter 39
*Evelyn’s POV*
The principal was examining me for a whole hour. Turns out I’m a great liar; he believed every bit of my words. I got detention for the whole week. Only that? I supposedly beat up a kid, one week detention wasn’t enough. Was it?
When I got out of the office, the hallways were full of kids going to their periods. I walked to my locker almost shaking. My hands were sweaty and my mind a mess. I can’t believe Zach told Vince to record us while HE was kissing me and I was trying to get away. How evil. What people do for revenge is unbelievable. Pathetic too, sometimes.
I went to my locker, got my books and walked to my classroom. English. My class with Everett. How awkward.
I managed to reach the room. The door was already closed. I know Mrs. Carl would be so pis/sed I was late, but I had a good excuse. The principal kept me in his office.
I knocked on the door softly. I heard her reply: “Come in”. I walked into the classroom slowly, my legs shaking. All eyes were on me; I’m sure the rumors have spread by now.
“Where were you, Miss Jensen?” she asked, taking a careful look at me.
“I was at the principal’s office” I murmured.
“I see. Have a seat so we can keep going with our lesson” she said, gesturing to my desk. I sat down and opened my notebooks, keeping notes right away.
I felt every person in this class staring at me. That’s right b//tches, I had taken the blame for Everett, is it that bad? Everybody knew Everett did it, but no one had the guts to go tell the principal. I didn’t tell him either. Not because I was afraid of Everett –I surely wasn’t– but because I liked him and I’ve hurt him enough. I can’t believe this morning he was telling me I make him happy and now he doesn’t even wanna look at me. I’m sure he doesn’t.
I looked at him. He was staring at his hands, not saying a word. His eyes turned to me but he acted as if he hadn’t seen me, as if I was invisible. My face twisted and I turned my face, concentrating on the lesson again.
This was gonna be way harder than I thought.

At the end of my last period, I placed my books in my locker and prepared myself for detention. I walked to this room I was supposed to be and opened the door. I found a few kids already there. I took my seat in the middle of the class and placed my hands on the desk, staring at them. After half an hour waiting, more teens gathered in the room, along with the teacher. Then, detention started.
This was gonna last for two hours I think. I rolled my eyes, ruffling my hair. This was so messed up.
I haven’t seen Everett so angry in my entire life, neither Sienna. I didn’t know she liked Zach so much and even if I knew, I would NEVER so something similar to that. I’m not the kind of girl who betrays her friends by sleeping with their boyfriends. I don’t even like Zach and she knows it; how could she believe I did it on purpose?
My stomach was a complete mess. I was feeling like throwing up. It was awful; I stood up and looked at the teacher sitting on the desk. I bit my lip before asking.
“Excuse me, could I go to the restroom?” I asked, voice cracking.
“Of course. Everything okay?” she asked, standing up and walking to me.
“Yes! Can I go now?” I repeated my question.
“Yes, you may go” she gestured to the door.
I got out of the room and took a deep breath. Then, I started walking to the restroom slowly. I didn’t wanna rush things; detention was boring in the first place. So I walked there slowly, when I felt my mouth having a weird taste. I started running like crazy when I found the room. I pushed the door open, ran towards a toilet and started throwing up.
I felt so sick. Was I sick? No, this morning I was fine. I remember Everett and I sleeping together. I wasn’t feeling sick at all. What happened now?
I stopped and grabbed a tissue to wipe my mouth. I walked to the mirrors, rubbing my belly. It was almost November; am I a little late for my period? No, it’s just my idea. No, I’m fine. I’m fine, nothing’s gonna happen.
I walked back to the class. I stood outside and knocked on the door carefully. I heard the teacher saying “Come in” from inside. I twisted the handle of the door and opened it. I walked in but suddenly, I felt my head heavy. I slid my palm to my forehead. I didn’t have fever; I was okay. I think.
My knees felt like jelly. I pressed my palm against a desk I found for balance, but then everything turned dark and I fainted.

Oh. My. God.
I'm sorry for not posting like I used to but school is hard and i have so much homework :( I'll try to post again next week.

"He is bad news..."
Chapter 36
A bright light made my eyelids open. I blinked a few times before looking around. Everett’s arm was wrapped around my waist and his face was pressed against my back. I giggled a bit and moved, trying to wake him up. He rolled over and stretched his arms but rolled back and wrapped his arms around me again. He brought his face to my ear and kissed my skin. I giggled, hiding my face in my hand.
“You make me happy” he whispered and then hid his face in the crook of my neck.
“You too” I whispered, when something hit me. Zach. Oh, no. If Everett finds out what happened, he’ll ditch me and hate me forever. Oh, my. I can’t let that happen. My eyes filled with tears with just the thought of Everett hating me. Again.
“Why are you crying?” he said, wiping my eyes with his thumb and turning me around so I could face him.
“I… These are happy tears” I lied.
“Are you sure?” he asked, touching my cheeks carefully.
“Of course” I said and forced myself to smile.
“We should get up, we need to go to school” he chuckled, getting out of bed.
“You haven’t even showered, Mr. Perfect” I teased him.
“I showered last night” he winked at me. “And changed clothes”.
“I can’t believe you had planned the whole thing!” I said, faking a heartbroken expression.
“Yes, I’m using you honey” he joked, smirking.
“You hurt my feelings” I pouted.
“You’ll live” he laughed, giving me a quick kiss and walking away. He got out of my room using the window. I stood up and watched him as he left. He got down to my garden using a tree which was next to my window. He safely left my garden and went to his car. He drove off and seconds after, I was all alone again.
I took a quick shower and picked my clothes. I was gonna wear a black corset–like shirt, black jeans and a dark grey blazer. I would match my outfit with some dark grey ankle boots my mom had bought me a while ago but I never wore. I wore the clothes and shoes and curled my hair carefully. I applied a few make–up on my face, grabbed my phone and I was ready to go.
I got my bag from the kitchen and greeted my parents. As usual, mom was drinking her coffee and dad was reading a newspaper. My mother looked up at me with a weird look.
“Who was that boy sleeping in your room with you last night?” she asked, cocking an eyebrow.
“Umm, him” I trailed off. “Just Everett”.
“Oh, how lovely! He should have come and say hi” she beamed.
My eyes widened. “Haven’t you freaked out or anything?”
“Why would I? He seems like a wonderful guy” she said, still smiling.
If you only knew.
“So, you trust him?” I asked.
“I trust both of you, Evelyn” she said, giving me a knowing look.

"He is bad news..."
Chapter 35
I was lying on my bed, hands covering my face, eyes closed. I was so scared; I knew Zach could tell Sienna everything. The problem is that she would believe him. She was my best friend, yeah, but she wouldn’t trust me over Zach. I knew that. I was so afraid, though; God knows how terrible things he’s gonna tell her about me.
I was about to sleep when my phone vibrated. I grabbed it lazily from the nightstand just to see I had received a text message from Everett. I opened it.
I missed you. Leave your window door open, I’m coming over.
~Everett
My heard beat fast. He’s coming here? Like, here here? No he can’t, if my dad bursts into the room, we’re both screwed. I couldn’t reply to his message since I heard noise coming from the garden.
“Hey” I heard a voice.
I pulled my head outside my window. “Hello? Everett?”
I got no answer so I turned my head back inside. A second ago, he jumped inside my room. “Surprise”.
“Hey” I beamed, feeling happy.
“Hey” he replied, smiling.
“You’re here”.
“Indeed” he said, keeping on smiling.
I giggled a bit, still keeping the distance between us.
“Come here” he murmured, holding his arms out.
I took a step closer to him and flung myself into his arms. I loved cuddling with him; he just made me feel better. I know I should tell him about what happened today, but I didn’t have the courage to. I didn’t wanna ruin this moment. I wanted to stay like this forever.
“What’s bothering you?” he asked, almost whispering.
“Nothing” I mumbled, burying my face on his chest to avoid starting a conversation.
“You seemed pretty troubled and shocked this morning” he stated.
“I did not” I denied it.
“As you wish”.
His hands slid to my neck and his fingers locked on my chin, lifting my head up. I looked at him as he leaned in and planted a kiss on my lips, so soft I thought it wasn’t true. He pulled away and I blinked, confused. He grinned and pulled me in for another kiss, more passionate this time. His lips were pressed against mine and I wrapped my arms around him, kissing back. He grasped on my waist and pulled me closer. I could feel the kiss growing deeper, as he bit my lower lip. My breath hitched and my body froze. I don’t know why; it was really confusing.
He lifted me up slightly and leaned me against the closest wall, brushing my hair off my face. I put my hands on his chest as he kissed across my jaw line. Just then, a sound on the door freaked us out.
“Ev? Everything all right in there?” my dad asked, knocking on the door.
I pushed Everett away and took a deep breath. “Of course dad!” I answered quickly.
“Want me to check?” he asked.
“No, no! It’s fine!” I said, my voice pitched a little.
“Okay, take care!” he called. I let out a sigh of relief when I heard him walking down the stairs.
“That was close” he breathed out, grinning.
“Sure was” I agreed, sitting down on my bed.
“I’m bored to go home” he pouted, sitting down next to me and lacing his arms lazily around my waist.
I rolled my eyes.

“You can find clothes in my parents’ room”.

Hey cupcakes! Aww that was close haha :3 This and the next chapter will be *kinda* cute because something happened and I'm *kinda* better now! *cough cough still depressed cough* I met someone special I guess haha and now I'll be all dingle dingle blu blu (sorry my words, it means cute and excited and stuff :P) Anyway, as always, comment if you wanna be notified! "He is bad news..."
Chapter 31
We arrived at my house around 11 pm, after a loooooong walk to the park. It was really nice; I like spending time with him, especially when he’s in a good mood.
We were at his car which was parked outside my house. He was looking at the road and I had my eyes glued on my hands. Suddenly, he decided to break the silence.
“I had fun tonight”.
“Yeah, me too” I murmured.
“Sorry I made you miss your prom” he apologized.
“I don’t mind. It was gonna be a disaster anyway” I said, shrugging.
“Maybe I should take you home now” he smiled.
“Maybe you should” I agreed, giggling.
He got out of the car, opened up my door and helped me out. We walked to my garden and then my porch, holding hands. We really looked like those couples who were returning from proms and all.
We stood at my doorstep. He smiled at me before leaning in and brushing his lips against mine softly. He pulled away fast and knew this wasn’t enough for both of us, so he took a step closer and captured his lips on mine, his one hand on my waist and the other on my neck. I had my hands on his face the whole time. His kiss was slow and full of passion. He nibbled at my bottom lip and I ran my fingers through his hair, pulling him even closer. Suddenly, a weird sound made us pull away. It seemed that something was going on inside the house.
“Shh, I’m trying to hear!” somebody whispered, maybe too loud. I recognized the voice in no time: it belonged to my lovely mother. What an embarrassment.
Everett and I looked at each other and then burst out laughing. The scene was actually pretty ridiculous. He pecked my cheek one more time before taking a look at me. “I’ll see you tomorrow”.
“See you tomorrow” I said, waving goodbye. I watched as he walked back to his car and drove off quickly. Then, I unlocked the front door. I heard footsteps. Mom, I swear, if you were overhearing…
I found both my parents in the living room, my dad watching TV and my mother reading a magazine.
“Hey Evelyn! How was your prom?” she asked cheerfully, but voice slightly shaking.
“It was great. What are you doing?” I asked, sitting closer to her.
“You know, reading” she laughed weakly, turning some pages of her magazine.
“Upside down?” I asked, tilting my head.
“What?” she said, giving me a weird look.
“People read magazines like this” I said, grabbing it and turning it around, “not the way you were holding it”.
“Oh yeah” she said.
I gave her a suspicious look, letting her know I didn’t quite believe her. She sighed, defeated. “You guys heard me didn’t you?”
And that’s when I exploded.
“I can’t believe you were overhearing! That’s so embarrassing, mom! Don’t EVER do that again, please?” I said, lifting my arms up.
“I’m sorry! It was your first date and prom, though. I’m just excited my baby girl had finally had her first kiss!” she said cheerfully. “Tell me about it! Was it nice?”
If you only knew.
“How did you… What the he.ll, mom?” I shouted.
“I’m sorry, okay? Won’t happen again, promise” she said, giving me a sweet smile.

I was to go upstairs, when I returned to the living room. I pulled my head inside the room and looked at her. “It was amazing” I said, smiling. She gave me an excited smile but then I ran upstairs, feeling my cheeks burning.

"He is bad news..."
Chapter 33
“So, what did you wanna tell me?” asked Everett after a couple of hours.
We were lying down on his bed, the blanket on us. I snuggled next to him, closing my eyes. “I can’t remember now”.
“You seemed really upset, Evelyn” he claimed.
“Did I?” I asked, looking up at him.
“Yeah, just like the morning after we…”
“It was nothing” I said, not recalling the reason.
“I hope so” he murmured, getting out of bed and throwing his clothes back on.
“Where are you going?” I asked rolling over.
“I have to eat breakfast, remember?” he snapped, storming out of the room.
“What the hell is wrong now?!” I shouted as he got out of the room.
“Nothing!” he shouted back, slamming the kitchen door.
I rolled my eyes. I got out of the bed as well and wore my clothes quickly. I went out of the room and walked down the stairs. I stopped in front of his kitchen door. I knocked a few times. He didn’t answer. I tried to open but realized it was locked.
“F*ck it, Everett! I’m out of here!” I yelled at the closed door, kicking it. I turned around and walked to the hall, when a sudden ‘click’ made me stop.
“Have you regretted?” he asked, sounding furious.
“Regretted what?” I asked, turning around.
“Us, that Saturday. Have you regretted?”
I laughed bitterly. “If I had regretted, I wouldn’t be standing here, Everett! I wouldn’t have forgiven you, I wouldn’t have done it twice, I wouldn’t have kept it a secret! Are you f*cking serious Everett?” I yelled, taking a step closer to him. “The real question is, have you regretted?”
He blinked. “Of course not. It’s just that every time I try to talk about it, you change the subject” he said, angry.
“I’m sorry okay? It’s just that it really hurt and…”
“And?” he asked, demanding for an answer.
“Stop being a di/ckhead, Everett! It’s hard for me, okay?” I shouted.
“And you stop being a b*tch!” he shouted back.
We stared at each other for a few minutes, before I felt his lips crushing on mine. I kissed back, running my hands on his hair and pulling his locks back a little. We kissed like that for a couple of seconds, before he decided to let go. He smirked before saying: “I love it when you get mad”.
I rolled my eyes. “Yeah, whatever”.

Ha. Ha. Hahahahahaha.
I don't know.
I just realized I made a typo on my last chapter and omg I apologize guys I was just in such a hurry and omg I'm so embarrassed now /).(\

Chapter 32
Monday. Who doesn’t hate those b*tches.
I walked into the school, checking my phone. I hadn’t gotten any calls or texts from Everett. This wasn’t unusual, though. He prefers face–to–face communication than calls or texts.
I was wearing a pair of black skinny jeans, black sleeveless top and a sheer buttoned–up blouse, sleeveless and see–through, which I had put inside of my skinny jeans, you know, just like those girls on Tumblr. Don’t make me explain any further, please.
My hair was loose as always, falling on my shoulders peacefully. My make–up was barely visible and my brown handbag was matching my brown oxfords.
I reached my locker and left my handbag in there. I fixed my hair a bit, along with my make–up. I looked at my cell phone screen. I still had half an hour till my first period starts. I shrugged, closed my locker and found my way to the bathroom.
I was walking down the hallway when somebody grasped onto my arm and pulled me inside an empty room with all the lights turned off. Then, I felt his body crushing onto mine, pressing me against the wall. I got really scared and started kicking and punching the body which was all over me, when the lights turned on and I saw Zach in front of me. Oh, no.
“Hey there princess” he said, grinning.
“What the h/ell do you want, Zach?” I hissed, trying to push him away.
“You didn’t come to the prom on Saturday” he pouted. “I missed you”.
“Get the f/uck away from me” I growled, my voice louder.
“Sure” he laughed, putting his hands on the wall, caging me.
He then started kissing my shoulder, biting my skin. I tried so hard to push him away; if anyone saw us, we’re scre/wed. Zach was now kissing me all over my neck, making me feel so awful. I punched his chest which seemed to startle him. He didn’t stop, though. He grabbed my face and kissed my lips, despite my denials. I kicked his legs as hard as I could. He finally let go and smirked, before grabbing my wrists and pinning them on the wall. He started kissing my collarbone, when something crossed my mind.
Oh, no. No way am I letting him do this.
I totally went crazy and started moving hysterically, letting out a loud scream. His hand slapped my mouth close but I got the chance to kick him on his belly with my knee. That must have hurt since he pulled away and fell on the floor, holding himself tight. I freaked out and stormed out of the room. I went to my locker and grabbed my handbag. I closed it again and I left the school, almost shaking. I found my way to Everett’s house; that’s the only one who could help me now.
I arrived at his house and knocked on his door. After 5 minutes which seemed like a century to me, he showed up, wearing a blue t–shirt and his boxers ONLY. Oh, sh*t, I thought. I covered my face with my hands and blushed.
“Hey, what are you doing here?” he asked with his morning voice.
“I need to tell you something” I said shyly.
He uncovered my face and pulled me towards him, closing the door.
“Tell me later, okay? Let’s cherish the time we have together” he said with a smirk, pulling me to his room. As soon as we got there, we both sat down –I was kinda forced to, to be honest– when a thought hit me.
“Where is Sienna?” I asked.
“She left a while ago” he explained, kissing my lips.
“What are we gonna do?” I asked, the shock in my voice visible.
He smirked.

“You’ll see”.

Chapter 30
*Evelyn’s POV*
Everett switched off the engine of his car and looked at me. I returned the look and then he slid out and walked to my side, opening up my door. I smiled; he could be so kind sometimes. I got out of the car and looked up.
“I can’t believe you brought me to Dania’s” I laughed, feeling him staring at me.
“What’s wrong with that?” he asked innocently.
“Come on, last time I’ve been there was when I was 5” I said, grinning.
“Reunion after 12 years, so touching” he smirked, pulling me towards the store.
“Come oooon, let’s go to the park instead” I tried to escape.
“No! Don’t you want an ice–cream first?” he pouted.
“Fine! You’re lucky you’re cute” I scoffed, walking to the entrance.
“I know” he said and I could feel the smirk in his voice.
We went to the store and ordered. I got myself a marshmallow cupcake and he got chocolate ice cream. This was exciting. I hadn’t seen him eating ice cream before; it’s too childish for him.
We picked a table at the back of the room, next to a huge mirror. He pulled my chair as I sat down. I almost choked on the gesture. Why was he being so nice? It started to confuse me. Was something wrong? Where’s the rude and weird Everett I used to know?
He brought our food to the table and sat next to me. I ate my cupcake slowly; it was so tasty and awesome, it actually made me realize how much I missed this place.
Last time I came here was with Everett, about eight years ago. I don’t know if he still remembers, but I do. I ordered the exact same thing and he too. Just memories I can’t forget about.
“Ev” he called, nudging me. “You drifted off again”.
“Sorry” I said quickly, finishing my cupcake.
“What were you thinking about?” he asked carefully.
“Nothing” I mumbled, blushing and pushing my plate away. He had already finished his ice cream and I guess we’re ready to go now.
“Tell me” he said quietly, looking at me.
“It’s nothing” I insisted, avoiding his eyes.
“I’m sure it’s something” he claimed, holding my gaze. “But if you don’t want to tell me, I get it”.
What was that in his voice? Annoyance? Oh no, that’s the last thing I want right now, honestly. This night is supposed to be perfect; I want us to keep it that way.
“I was thinking about the last time I was here…with you” I blurted out, almost whispering.
His eyes widened. “That was ages ago, how can you even…?”
“You think I’ve forgotten? Well, I haven’t! You were the one who was always trying to do that. You succeeded, I guess. Well done” I said bitterly and tried to get away. He didn’t let me, though.
“You really should let people talk too” he whispered, giving me a playful smile.
“Talk, then” I said, tilting my head to the left.
“I never said I forgot. I tried, yes, but I never did” he started. “The day you got me staring, I had decided to stop lying to myself and do what I want. I knew I wouldn’t be judged for my actions so I went for it”.
“What did you want?” I asked.
“You”.
“You still thought I was Cassandra when you…” I stuttered.
“Let’s just forget about that” he cut me off. “It’s just you and me now”.
“I’m okay with that” I whispered.
“Look” he pointed at the mirror, showing me our reflection on its surface.
“That truly takes a picture” I laughed.
“Already there” he smiled, grabbing my phone from my purse.
“Everett, what on Earth are you doing?” I asked, trying not to burst out laughing.
“Smile!” he said cheerfully, turning the camera, kissing my cheek and taking a picture.
He chuckled, taking a look at the picture we just took.
“Show me!” I whined.
“Here” he said, handing me my phone.
Oh. My. God. I looked so ugly! My hair and my face and just EW!
“DELETE IT! NOW!” I demanded, giving him my phone.
“Why? You look so cute” he grinned.
“Seriously, delete it” I continued.
“Seriously no, you look cute”.
When he leaned in to kiss me, the butterflies in my stomach went crazy.

I felt like one in a million.

I'm Your Mate
Epilogue

"Rylie, you need to go to sleep." I whispered, slowly stroking her hair.
"But mommy, Santa's coming tonight!" She shouted clapping her hands.
"He won't come unless you get some sleep, alright baby?"
"But I didn't get to say goodnight to daddy." She pouted.
"Daddy had to take care of some things. He'll be here when you wake up, I promise." I whispered to her. I kissed her forehead and walked out of the room.
I left her door open so there was some light coming into her room.
I walked to the kitchen and got myself a glass of water.
"What's the matter, hunny." I heard Jace ask from behind me.
I jumped and spun around to face him.
"Holy crap you scared me." I said my hand to my heart.
"With those werewolf senses you'd think you'd be able to hear me coming!" He chuckled.
He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me to him. I snuggled into the crook in his neck.
"How's Rylie?" He asked.
"Tomorrow's Christmas. Do you think it was easy to get her to bed?" I giggled.
"Sorry I couldn't be here." He whispered.
"It's no problem. You had some business to take care of." I replied.
He pushed me backwards and my back hit the counter.
I wrapped my legs around his waist and pulled him closer to me.
"I don't want Rylie to be an only child anymore. I want her to have a sibling." I mumbled into his chest.
"Okay. But this time I want a boy." He smirked.
~~
"Jace hurry up!" I shouted up the stairs to him. "Everyone's going to start arriving and you're still getting ready!"
Rylie was in the living room playing with her new dolls she got for Christmas.
After Jace and I were together for about 2 years we deicded to start trying for a child.
It took a bit of time but finally here we are 5 years later with an amazing 4 year old little girl.
I wouldn't trade anything that's happened in my life. I know I've had trouble with Colton, but that doesn't matter anymore.
Jace's parents treat me like their daughter. I still miss my parents, but they've been helping me.
Especially his mom. She's been absolutely lovely. She helped me throughout the pregnancey and when Rylie was a lttle girl.
I heard a knock on the door and walked to open the door. Of course Jace would be late.
I opened it to see Cammi and her mate Jack standing there with gifts in their hands.
"Cammi! Jack! Come on in!" I said opening the door welcoming them in. "Sorry Jace's late, like usual."
"CAMMI!" Rylie shouted running for the door. Rylie jumped into Cammi's arms. Rylie absolutely adored Cammie. They were like sisters it was crazy.
Rylie was tiny for her age and had long light brown hair. She had some light freckles and green eyes, just like her dad.
I heard another knock at the door and excused myself to go answer it.
"You guys made it!" I shouted to Jace's parents.
"Of course we did!" His mother smiled.
"Jace is still upstairs getting ready. He can be such a girl sometimes." I laughed.
"Hey! I heard that!" He shouted walking down the stairs.
"C'mon guys! It's time to eat!" I shouted ushering them to the kitchen.
After everyone was settled and they were eating I decided to speak up.
"I have some news for everyone!" I said smiling.
"What is it mommy?" Rylie asked, her mouth full of mashed potatoes.
Jace raised an eyebrow at me.
"I'm pregnant!" I shouted.
Oh my god's and congrats went around the table.
After we ate Jace came up to me when I was washing dishes.
"How come you didn't tell me sooner?" He asked grabbing a towel and drying off the dishes as I handed them to him.
"I don't know I wanted to tell everyone. I only found out yesterday. So I haven't been hiding it for long."
"Okay good." He smiled. "I love you."
"I love you too, baby." I replied kissing him.

This stories finally over! Thank you all who have supported me! I am writing another story! I'm not sure what it will be about yet, or when I will upload it. I will send you all a comment when I post it! Xoxoxox!

I'm Your Mate
Chapter 28

"You don't have to go to school today if you don't want to." Jace said.
The funeral yesterday went by smoothly. Thank god.
"I know, but I want to. Maybe if I keep myself busy I can keep my mind off of what's been happening lately."
"Sounds good, baby." He said kissing me on the temple. "We should get going before we're late."
I grabbed my purse and made my way out the door behind him.
We pulled up to the school and I hopped out. He came around and grabbed ahold of my hand and we walked into the school together.
"Hey Avery!" Someone shouted from behind me,
I turned and saw the guy from the other night, Justin.
"Hey! I didn't know you went here!" I yelled back.
He came jogging up and stopped a few feet in front of us.
"Yeah I started like last month." He replied, smiling. "I see you fixed whatever problems you had with your boy."
"Yeah." I replied, looking down.
"You told him about us?" Jace asked. He let go of my hand and crossed his arms across his chest.
"No, well, yeah. You were being to over protective and I was mad! I needed someone to vent to!"
"You could always talk to me! Tell me that I'm being over protective and that you need some space!" He yelled.
Some people turned in our direction.
"I try, but it's not like you listen!" I shouted back. By now the entire hallway was looking at us. "I need to go to my first block class. I'll talk to you later or at home."
I ignored him and made my way to my class. My first day of school back and we're already fighting. How great it that. I took a couple of deep breaths to clam myself down. I don't want to be shifting in the middle of the classroom.
"Hey," Someone whispered from behind me.
I turned and saw Justin.
"Oh hey. Sorry about Jace and I fighting." I said.
"It's no problem. Good luck with everything." He replied.
"Avery." The teacher said.
"Yes?"
"The principal would like to see you."
"Alright.." I mumbled. That was weird? Why would the principal want to see me? I haven't done anything wrong, well, except be absent. I wouldn't be called to the principals office for that.
I got out of my seat and made my way out of the classroom. I started walking down the hallway.
Someone grabbed my waist and pulled me into the supply closet.  I didn't have time to scream it was so fast.
"I'm sorry about earlier, baby. I hate fighting with you." Jace mumbled into my neck.
I relaxed when I heard his voice.
"So this is the principal's office, huh?" I giggled.
"Yes and you're in trouble." He growled playfully.
~~~
I made my way to lunch alone. Jace and I has different classes during lunch so we couldn't walk there together, but we did have the same lunch.
Once I was in the cafeteria I made my way over to the table he was sitting at. I looked over and saw a girl standing over to him and touching his arm.
I focused my hearing on them.
"C'mon, baby, please. It will be quick. You're girlfriend doesn't have to know." The girl whined.
"Kara, I said no, now leave." He growled.
I walked over to them and put my hand on Jace's shoulder.
"Excuse me, what do you think you're doing with my boyfriend?" I spat, glaring at her.
"Nothing." She smirked.
I squeezed onto his shoulder getting angry.
"Avery, calm down." Jace whispered so only i could hear.
"Oh yeah, I bet nothing was happening." I spat. I could hear my pulse in my ears. My eyes are probably black.
"Actually, he just agreed to come over my house tonight." She lied.
I jumped forward and tackled her to the ground.
"You stupid stupid little girl!" I shouted.
"Derek! Get her out of here!" Jace shouted.  I felt myself being lifted off the girl and carried out of th school.
Derek put me on the ground. "Take deep breaths." He said.
"Jace is going to kill me." I whispered.
"He might be mad, but he won't kill you." He joked.
I layed down on the grass and closed my eyes. Why did I have to insist on coming back to school?
"Avery?" Jace asked.
I sat up and looked at him. He didn't seem mad.
"Yeah?" I replied.
"I'm not mad at you. When you first start out It's hard to control yourself." He said.
"Thank you." I replied, smiling.
"Anything for my mate." He smiled kissing me.
"I'm you're mate, forever." I whispered.
"Now let's skip the rest of the day and go out." He stated.
"Sounds perfect!" I said jumping up.
I'm so sorry it's late! Everything is starting to look up for me, but I've been so busy with school. Here it is! The last chapter! The epilouge should be up within a week! Hopefully less. Thank you guys for everything!! xox!
