I'm starting my second year in September, my first year was pretty cool though, thousand times better than high school. Join things and you'll meet a lot of people, but be ready for school as well. It's hard. I know a lot of people who are so excited about buying their bedspreads and forget they're going to school. Also I don't even think campus police are really police. They just run around giving mips. Which suck, so avoid drunk run ins with the the popo at all costs.
