I went to Arkansas with my family once when I was about seven, because we were evacuating from Hurricane Katrina and my dad has a friend that lives there and so we stayed with him temporarily. All I remember is that there was an overabundance of woodland and daddy long legs. But I've unfortunately never been out of the southern United States, so I do feel your pain.
