cross country is one of those sports that it doesn't matter who wins, we still cheer for that last place runner as much as we do the first. we respect everyone, bond with other teams as our own. sometimes we start up conversations with the competitors next to us. as we pass/get passed we cheer for the people next to us. we go up and down hilsl, through mud, snow, rain, anything that gets thrown our way. the only way our meets get canceled is if it is lightning. we are tough cookies. we dont have time outs or breaks, we just go. run. run. run.
