Priceless
Chapter
2
Lennon walked through
her closet running her fingers over the endless pairs of designer
jeans, blouses, skirts, and dresses as she combed through her
things looking for something to wear to the party tonight. There
wasn't much information given regarding the formality of the
party so Lennon was trying her best to find a suitable outfit.
She had no idea what to wear, but she knew it had to be perfect.
Lennon reached for her black pencil skirt and her favorite floral
top. She slid on her white wedges and decided that her outfit
would suffice. As she ran her flat iron over her blonde curls and
touched up her makeup she heard a soft tapping on her door.
Dakota was standing in her doorway decked out in 5 inch stilettos
and a formfitting black metallic dress. She looked like she was
about to go to the club, not a party. Even though Dakota was only
a sophomore, she was just as well liked in the junior class as
Lennon, granting her entry to any party she desired.

When the girls pulled up to the party Dakota seemed to jump out
of the car before it even reached a full stop. As they entered
the party it was apparent that there was a lot of drinking going
on. The bitter smell of vodka and beer was almost palpable in the
air and judging by the amount of people at the party, it was no
surprise.
Lennon, unlike most of her friends, didn't drink. Dakota, on
the other hand, loved to drink, party, and be the wild brunette
that she really was. She was known for getting out of control but
she was lucky enough to have Lennon there to cover for her and
protect her already tarnished reputation.
Lennon spotted Blake from across the room, his hair was tousled
and he looked like he just rolled out of bed. Drunk,
Lennon though to herself with a disgusted look on her face. He
grabbed Lennon around the waist tightly and when he whispered
hello in her ear she could smell the vodka on his breath.
Disgusting, she thought as she tried to free herself.
Lennon hated Blake's attitude when he was drunk. He became an
the arrogant and cocky jock that even Blake himself hated. When
Lennon finally unhinged herself from his grasp he seemed unsteady
and almost fell over as Lennon maneuvered through the crowd
towards her friend Taitlyn. Taitlyn's beautiful curly brown
hair was pin straight down her back and her heavy makeup made her
green eyes pop, she was undeniably stunning. Taitlyn seemed
carefree and happy while Lennon was uneasy and anxious. Her
boyfriend was acting like a drunk jerk and her sister was off
with vodka in one hand and a boy in another.
It was going to be a long night.

Chapter
1
Lennon walked into
school along side her sister as the crowded halls seemed to part
for them like the Red Sea. It didn't take long for Dakota to
spot her friends. They were all standing in a corner smiling into
their mirrors and taking pictures with their cell phones. Their
skin tight skirts and blouses were drawing much attention from
the freshman boys who seemed to drool over the beautiful
sophomores. Dakota was wild. Although Lennon was older, a junior,
her younger sister had always been more mischievous then her and
her far from perfect reputation never seized to grow.
Lennon spotted her friends standing near the entrance to the
school. Her friends were not as stunning as Lennon, but they were
pretty close. Taitlyn was Lennon's best friend, she had curly
brown hair, striking hazel eyes and a body that a model would
kill for. Annabelle, Lianna, and Cassie were their partners in
crime. The five girls did everything together, and always looked
beautiful when they did. Everyone knew who they were and everyone
wanted to be their best friend.
Before Lennon could even speak a word to her friends, Blake
grabbed her around the waist and pulled her in for a kiss. Blake
was Lennon's boyfriend, the boy that everyone wanted. He was
captain of the football team, gorgeous beyond belief, and sweet
as can be, but he was not exactly the smartest of the bunch and
everyone knew it.
After their embrace Lennon hugged her friends as they all giggled
and squealed about how gorgeous they all looked on the first day
of school, and about the party that they would all attend later
that night. It all seemed like fun and games, but these girls had
no idea that their fairytale lives were about to be
interrupted.
Sorry this chapter was pretty boring, I'm still
trying to get through everyones introductions for now.

Introduction
Lennon woke up to the
sound of soft beeps escaping her iPhone. The sun was slowly
rising as she stepped into her brand new pair of Seven jeans. Her
mother was calling to her from down stairs as she got dressed.
Her soft pink mac lip stick looked flawless on her porcelain face
and bouncy blonde curls framed her perfect oval shaped head. As
she walked down the marble hallways of her beautiful home, her
sister Dakota emerged from her room. She was almost as
breathtaking as Lennon. Her long black hair flowed straight down
her back, almost reaching her waist, and her brand new dress
flowed softly as she walked down the stairs. Dakota was a
sophomore, and Lennon loved her dearly, but the two were very
competitive when it came to looks. Both girls looked like they
had just stepped out of vogue magazine, both were stunning, and
both of them knew it.
"School starts in half an hour, you don't want to be
late to your first day of school!", their mother called from
the breakfast table. Lennon and Dakota clearly took after their
mother, her honey blonde hair and pale blue eyes made her stand
out among other women her age. Married men starred as she walked
by, only to get a dirty look from their less appealing wives.
Their father was also very handsome. His chiseled features and
seemingly perfect bone structure made you look twice at him. His
hair was thick and brown on the top of his head, unlike other men
his age whom already had thinning hair.
Lennon was a lucky girl, she lived in a beautiful mansion with
her lovely family. She didn't realize how blessed she was
until it all came crashing down.
She lived a life of luxury that other people could only dream of.
Her life was priceless.
