Chapter 1
Kai and Dad were fighting again, I curled up on the armchair my mum walked in she sighed 'Sweetheart they're just boys ey' she bent down and hugged me tight. Kai walked in 'Aww kiddo' he sighed 'chin up eh' he scruffled my hair. He went to his room and slammed the door. 'F*****g Kid, F*****g riuned my F*****g life.' 'DREW' mum shouted. Kai walked out of his room eyes bloodshot 'Love you mum, Love you Sparrow I'm leaving'
' ooh running away again'
The door slammed.
Days passed, months passed, he never came home he was away for ages. Mum got depression her face wasn't jolly anymore her hair didn't shine. She never worked she spent most of her time crying and moping my father worked 9 hours a day then comes home and sleeps. I want Kai back so much, so bad I'm going to go find him I have to have closure on this even if he doesnt come home I will be hasppier. Tommorow I'm going to go to the station to get some clues.

I looked out of the window, my mind at ease Kai was home. Well outside he was kissing his girlfriend good bye. I smiled my world was much better with Kai in it. He is 2 years older than me in college and all the girls love him. "Sparrow time for tea sweetie"
Dinner conversation turned to Kai as always. "Kai hows college going sweetheart?" mum asked. My mum was my role model her hair was silky black and pink. She's always telling me and Kai to be different. I admire her. She was my age when she had Kai 15. My father on the other hand is horrible. He doesn't care never really shows anything just shouts a lot. My dad was 22 when Kai was born. He is young but has wrinkles his hair is brown and he has scars on his lips and eyebrows from where he used to have piercings. Kai has blue hair and piercings. We are the family everyone hates. I have blonde hair and I am very unpopular. After dinner Kai and dad started to fight.
