Chapter 19
The summer has been flying by. I spend
almost everyday with Tony and barely miss Charlie now. I havent
talked to Charlie in weeks. I hope he's making new friends tho.
Oh and how could I forget, my moms getting married. I think its
kinda stupid cuz shes only been going out with the guy for 4
months but whatever. As long as shes happy. But my
soon-to-be-step-dad, John has a son my age, Mike. He came over
today and had a bit of an attitude. So I treated him the same.
He's like a month older than me and kept calling me his 'widdle
stepsistwer" i hated that so much i almost punched him in
the face. I told Steven to come over and hang out with Mike. That
got ridda him. Oh yah, and school starts in 3 weeks !!! I hope I
have alot of classes with Tony. And Bianca of course ! And thank
god Mike and John are moving into our house cuz I would refuse to
move to another house !!

We were walking, hand in hand, in hand, in hand
when the guys swung Bianca and I around so we were facing them.
Then, they RAN. So B and I looked at eachother like 'wtf is going
on?!?' But in a split second, we were running after them. B and I
both run track, so we're like uber fast and stuff. We caught up
to them in no time and when we tackled them we were in a place
that I'd never been in my whole life of living in my
neighborhood. I guess we ran pretty far, cuz we were at the
beach... standing... in a cave. They guys got up and Corey pulled
a lighter from his pocket. Then they lead us farther and farther
into the cave.

forgave him. I mean, how could I not? It turns out they didnt
even kiss. They just made it look like it somehow.... idk, im
still pretty confused about the whole thing, and one of the
things im REALLY confused about is that Tony says all these
things, but he hasnt even fricken asked me out yet and i hate it.
Bianca says that I should just ask him myself, but i wont becuz
if he said all those things to me then he should be the one to
ask. Ahhh, why must life have so much drama?!? Any ways, me and B
are the bestest friends again, and im gonna sleep over her house
tonight. Then we're gonna go chyll with Tony and Corey (incase u
forgot thatts biancas bf) at the park tomorrow.
So Bianca told me that shes not supposed to tell me this but she did anyways: yesterday Tony called Bianca for advice about ME and she said he said he was gonna ask me out but he didnt say when. We both think itll be tomoro at tthe park, so were gonna get me all dolled up and tell the guys that its gonna be a picnic!! I cant waittt!
I woke up this morning with a smile on my face. The guys were gonna come and get us at noon and Bianca and I both woke up around 10, so we had a quick breakfast then made food for the picnic. We finished with all that around 11 which gave us an hour to get ready. By the time we were finished, lemme say we looked smokin! [; The doorbell rang about 5 minutes after we were done and Corey was standing there. Five more minutes later Tony showed up. We introduced them and started walking to where me and Bianca thought we were going, but the guys planned diferently...

go to Tony's house almost everyday now. His family is super nice
and he's almost as close to me as Bianca... now that I think
about it, I haven't seen her in forever. I'm
gonna go to her house and see if she wants to go to the mall with
me... and maybe Tony can come with us!
First I walked to Bianca's house. When she saw me she imbraced me in a huge hug. We were walking back to my house because I forgot to get money when I told her there was someone she had to meet. I told her all about Tony. She said he could come so we got money and walked to his house. He came and we went straight to the mall. We all went to abercrombie first. I got a pair of plaid and jean shorts and a couple T-shirts. By the time we were done we each had 4 full bags. Then we grabbed lunch at Burger King. Bianca and I sat down on the same side expecting Tony to sit across from us. But instead he decided to slam down next to me and squish me into Bianca who was pressed against the wall. We begged him to sit on the other side but he refused to sit alone so I got up and sat with him. I was just about done when I really had to go to the bathroom. I went and I came back to see Bianca and Tony sitting there kissing!! Tears started to fill my eyes and I ran outside sobbing. I cried all the way home. I told Bianca I liked him. How could she do this to me?? Especially since she has a boy friend!!

He caught my gaze in his and whispered,
"Steph, just umm, thanks for the help today...."
"It's no problem,really." "Well I was wondering if
maybe we could hang out tomorrow? You know, if you want
to..." "That would be great Anthony." "K
cool, just come over anytime... and you can call me
Tony." "Tony." i repeted. Then he rode off
and I walked into my house satisfied.
I woke up around 9:30 am and got ready. I wanted to look really nice today so I looked through my never ending closet for a halfhour until I found the perfect outfit. I ended up wearing white abercrombie shorts and a flowy turquoise and white tank top. I also wore dangly heart earings and gladiator sandals. I went into the bathroom and pulled my long,curly brown hair down from my ponytale. I brushed through it until it shined and was as perfect as possible. I smeared on some eyeliner, grabbed my phone, than ran out the door to Tony's house. We hung out in the backyard for a while and then I decided I'd show him around town, where most 15 year olds hang out. We were walking down the street, laughing and having a good time when I gazed over at him and he looked into my eyes at the exact moment. I felt some kind of connection. I started to blush, but I didn't look away. Neither did he... and before I knew it we were holding hands. We slowly inched closer to eachother until my shoulder was almost against his arm. And yes, his arm. I'm pretty tall for a girl,5'7, but hes tall for a guy to. He must be like 6'1. He's just so perfect.
At noon we went to the diner and got lunch. We talked about ourselves the whole time. When I got to the part in my life about Charlie, he found my hand under the table and sqeezed it tight. I feel really i dont know, safe, apreciated... loved, around him. Technically, we arent a couple, but I hope we will be someday, cuz theres a hole in my heart from where Charlie used to be, yea, i know, for a month, and it needs to be filled with the warmth it was filled with before.

It's been
about 20 days since Charlie moved and I miss him more and more
each day. But then I think about what people say, you know
'Everything happens for a reason' so what if me and Charlie just
werent meant to be? I still call him everynight though, it sounds
good to hear his voice. We've been talking though and we both
agree that it might be best if we move on, you know, see other
people. It's gonna be hard for me but thats just how breakups
are. Any ways, I heard kids my age are moving into Charlie's old
house !! I hope they arent real terdmunches, we have enough of
them at school.
So my mom did get home last week and she told me that I should go "welcome" the new neighbors so I rode my bike down to Charlie's old house. I almost broke into tears when I went to knock on the door but I was strong. So I knocked on the door and a geeky lookin kid answered it. He was nice though. He said his name was Steven and that he had a twin brother, Anthony. He also has 2 little sisters, Becca and Maria. I asked if they needed any help with unpacking and stuff so he introduced me to his mom. I found out her name was Carole and she's divorced from her husband. She said I could help Anthony and Steven bring the furniture in.
Steven and I walked out to the moving truck where Anthony was waiting and dayumm, the second I saw Anthony I missed Charlie justt a litttlee bit less. :] He has thick blonde hair and soft green eyes, but deep enough to get lost in. He has a small bridge of freckles and looks pretty muscular. D.A.Y.U.M. Oh ya, so I got introduced to him and he smiled at me. Soo the three of us picked up the couch together and brought it inside. Once we were done with all the furniture it was pretty dark out. I went to ride my bike home but Anthony insisted on going with me to make sure I got home safe. He got his bike out of the van and we rode back to my house, side by side in silence.
When we got there I hopped off and went to walk to the door. I took a couple steps before Anthony grabbed my hand and pulled me towards him...... (to be continued)

2 weeks later
I wokeup this morning with my hair a mess and tear stains covering my cheeks. I looked in the mirror and practicly screamed. Then I remembered. Today was the day that Charlie was moving. I spent the whole day with him yesterday and then he was gone. I might never see him again and my heart is too broken to explain in words. Around 11am the fone rang and I answered it to hear Bianca's voicce.
Me: He's gone.
Bianca: It'll be ok Steph.
Me: No 'B', it won't. I love him more than anything and didn't even tell him.
Bianca: Well maybe it's not too late. Ride your bike to the airport ! Tell him how you feel.
Me: That'll make things better, thanks so much B, you're the bestest !!
I rode a half hour on my bike to tell Charlie that I love him. He was just about to walk onto the plane when I grabbed his arm and turned him around. His eyes practicly popped out of his head when he saw me. "Steph what are you----" i cut him off. "Charlie.I love you more than the world itself and I I I just had to tell I had to tell you before you left me." i was spudering out words while I cried my eyes out. "Steph, it's gonna be ok, I'll never forget you. You have to promise me to call me everyday tho." "Twice. I'll miss you so much." He embraced me in the biggest hug, then I got on my tippytoes and kissed him so hard and so fiercely that I could barely breathe. With tears pouring out of our eyes we said our last goodbyes. I watched as Charlie walked away from me, for what I thought would be forever. But little did I know I'd be seeing him again.

After that the night just kept getting better and better.
Everybody but Corey, Bianca, Charlie, and I were gone by 11pm so
we decided to ride Charlie and Corey's bikes to the park. (they
rode their bikes to my house) Bianca sat on Corey's handle bars
and I sat on Charlie's. There's a little pond at the park, so we
all jumped in in our clothes. We swam around for like an hour
until we got bored. We just layed on the grass after that to dry
off. The four of us just layed there, watching the stars. Bianca
and I were talking a little bit though. Then when we got up to
leave we discovered something really bad. The guys were gone! We
must have been into our conversation so much that we didnt even
notice them leave. We ran to where the bikes used to be and saw
that they took them!! They must have gone home. Why would they do
this to us?!?
We finally decided to go back to my house after calling both of their cells like 5000 times. It took us quite a while to get home and when we looked it the clock it said it was 3am !! I went into my room to get dressed and when I opened my closet I screamed so loud that the whole neighbor hood must have heard me !! Charlie was in my closet and he jumped out at me, pinning me to the ground. Then I heard Bianca scream downstairs. I'm guessing that was Corey's fault. I was kicking and pushing Charlie to get him off me but he wouldnt budge. He gave me a quick kiss then jumped up and climbed out my window. I followed. Of course we ent up on the roof again. A couple minutes later Corey and Bianca showed up with blankets. We spread them out (my roof is flat) on the roof and all went to sleep in the beautiful outdoors.
