actually it doesn't matter what comes first, PEMDAS. you know, when multiplication and division come before subtraction and addition but it doesnt matter what order their in as long as you do it BEFORE the addition and subtraction. so therefore it does not matter, and the answer is 16.

but why do you keep the parenthesis there? after you add the two's they disapear .
24/6(2+2) > 24/6x4 > 4x4 = 16.
i did it on my calculator and the answer IS 16.
IM in college calculus.
i think i know how to do math.

you multiplication always comes before division in algebra, so 24/24 = 1

i wake up at 5:30 my bus (when i take it) comes at 6:52, school starts at 7:25, we have 7 45 minutes classes and a 45 minute lunch and school gets out at 2:18
