Just a Dream   part 18             
            I woke up the next morning, and i rubbed my eyes. Henry was laying next to me holding me against his chest. I looked up and he was just staring at me. i said "mm, staring, it's creepy" and smiled at him. "how long have you been up?" "only for about 20 minutes" "you could have woken me up." "you looked really peaceful, and when I first woke up you kind of wrapped your leg tighter around me, so I decided you would be really hard to untangle from" i chuckled, and said "well you should have woken me up," and stuck my tongue out at him.
           We got up and got dressed and everything, I was putting toast in the toaster when he came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist, and nuzzled his head into my neck. I turned around and wrapped my rms around his waist and put my head on his chest. I could feel when he started to talk in his chest "so, do you thin kyou could hang out with Sarah or Julia today?" I looked at him with mock horror and dramatically put my head to my chest, he started to explain "well, I have to plan for tomorrow, and it's going to be an entire surprise, so I thought you could go shopping for it with Sarah or Julia?" "I was kidding, yeah it'll be fine, I think I need a little bit of girl time, we've spent like every single second together for the past week" "and I'll text one of them to direct you on what to get, so you can be dressed appropriately with it still being a surprise"
                   I had my phone, purse and a pair of henry's sweat pants to wear to bed, with me as he walked me out to my car. I got in started it, and threw my stuff in the passenger's seat. I got back out to say goodbye, and I grabbed his hands, I swung them a little, as they hung between us. He lifted them up and pulled me to him, I wrapped my arms around his waist and he wrapped his around my shoulders. I looked up and he kissed me, softly and carefully. I pulled back and said "why does it feel like I'm leaving for like ever?" He chuckled and said back "because you are. A day is like forever in our little world, But I will see you tomorrow, I promise" I kissed him one more time and hugged him tightly, then pulled away, as I started to get into my car, we were still holding hands, and we let go, I closed the door, put on my sunglasses and rolled down the window, and said "hey, one last thing," "yeah?" "I love you." "I love you too baby, now get going so I can get to planning" "mmkay, bye" "bye, oh and Happy early Birthday" "thank you"
                When I got home I fell onto my bed and called Julia, because I hadn't really hung out with her in a while. She answered on the second ring "TARE BEAR!" "JULES! I haven't talked to you in forever!" "I know!" "hey, you want to go shopping today? Henry's got this big thing planned for me tomorrow for my birthday and I need to go shopping" "yeah, let me grab my keys and stuff and I pick you up in like 15?" "yeah, oh hey text Henry, he said he'd tell you what we're doing so that you can tell me what to wear" "okay cool" "k, bye" '"bye"

I Pulled his face back to mine, and kissed him. I rolled on top of him, and he put his hands in my back pockets. We started kissing again, and His mom yelled from the house that my bathing suit was done. I pulled away and he asked "you want to go swimming? because I know I want you to" "woww, you're lucky it's really hot" he cocked his eyebrow up and said "mmm, maybe it's just what we were doing?" We both laughed and I got very serious, "i'll race you." and with that I jumped up and he grabbed his shirt, I jumped down the ladder and started running, I could hear him chasing after me, he grabbed me by the waist and spun around, and we were both laughing. 
             I jumped on his back and he walked through the door into his house, I grabbed my swimsuit off the counter as we passed, "thanks ma" he called as we ran up the stairs. I jumped off of him and pulled my shirt off, "first one to the pool wins" "ohh what do I win?" "how are you so sure you're going to win?" "I just know" He grabbed his swimming trunks and went to the bathroom, as soon as he got in there I put on my bathing suit as fast as I could and I ran down the back stairs, and sat with my feet in the pool, and my legs crossed.
             Henry came down the stairs, and saw me, and said "seriously? that was the fastest I've gotten dressed ever." "well maybe you should get faster" he walked over to me and picked me up wedding style, "mmm now what do you win?" "it's loser's choice" He jumped in the pool with me, without any warning. I screamed, and swam to the surface of the water. He was already up, and laughing, "you're mean" and I stuck my tongue out at him. You couldn't see his pool from the house, so he pulled me by the waist and hugged me close, just as he leaned down, I splashed him. He tried to dunk me, and I swam to the corner of the pool. he came in front of me and trapped me in the corner. 
             His arms were on the sides of the pool on either side of me, entrapping me. He leaned down so our foreheads were touching, "so what do you win?" "like I said, loser's choice." he leaned down to just below my ear on my neck, and kissed me and then said, "well then I guess i'll have to decide." I started laughing, and I kissed him. 
            I wrapped my legs around his waist and pulled him closer to me. After a couple of hours of swimming and joking around, we got out, he wrapped a towel around me, and kept his arms around my waist. "So I decided what you get to win?" "oh did you?" "yeah, So since your birthday is in 2 days, I'm going to plan you a perfect day," I turned around to face him and wrapped my arms around his neck, "Henry that sounds amazing, especially since you're amazing." "well thank you, but you're more amazing" I jumped up and wrapped my legs around his waist, and kissed him, he started walking inside and I couldn't stop laughing because of the way he was carrying me. 
                   We walked through the kitchen and his mom and dad were sitting in the living room, they looked up from the tv, and laughed Henry put me down, and said "oh, I didn't think you were still home" his father responded with "yes, we decided to stay home tonight" "oh, well I know you guys remember Tara," "of course we do! We've always loved her, and it's great to see you around here lately" I responded with "yeah it's good to see you guys again, I actually missed you"  Henry put his arm around my shoulders and lightly squeezed me, "well we're going upstairs, so see you guys later" "bye, nice to see you again Tara" "you too" i called to her and Henry was pulling me up the stairs. 
             We got into his room, and he pushed me against the wall, and put his arms on either side of my head, he leaned down and kissed me, I pulled away, and kissed him from his jaw line to the bottom of his ear, softly bit it, and he pulled me up and wrapped my legs around himself. We laid on his bed and were kissing, I put his hand up to my top, and he pulled the string, then he pulled away and looked me in the eyes "we can't" "what's two days?" "I promised you the perfect day and it's going to be perfect, and you said you wanted to wait, we can't break that promise to each other." "See now I know why I love you." He re-tied my swimsuit, and we just laid there, I wrapped my leg around his torso, and put my head on his chest, he put his arms around me and pulled me closer, we just laid there holding each other, and sometime during, we fell asleep.

Just a Dream  part 14

- 2 weeks later -

          Henry was sitting on the floor of Tara's room sitting against the bed. Tara was grabbing a movie for them to watch. "Hey babe did you get one?" "yeah, i grabbed 2, pick, right hand or left" "um left" "okay so we'll watch Knocked Up, then Beauty and the Beast" "fine with me" I sat down next to him on our little makeshift bed/couch made from blankets. Henry put his arm around me and pulled me close to him. I curled into him and pulled the blanket up around us. 

          I woke up about 2 hours later, and the movie was over, i looked up and Henry was sound asleep. I kissed his cheek, and got up trying not to wake him, just as I was up, and about to put in Beauty and the Beast, Henry woke up, did one of those cute groans that guys do when they wake up and "babe what are you doing?" "I'm putting int he other movie, I'll be back in just a sec" I put the movie in, went to the bathroom, washed my face of all my makeup, and went back to Henry. He was fast asleep again, I just layed my head on his lap, and watched my favorite cartoon movie. Somewhere around the middle, I fell asleep. 

            I woke up and it was around 3 a.m, I rested on my elbow, and woke up Henry. He rubbed his eyes, and yawned,"c'mon babe, my neck hurts already" "m'mkay" i stood up and held out my hands to help him up, he grabbed them and stood up, he plopped on my bed, and i plopped right next to him. "oww oww oww, my neck actually really hurts" "are you okay babe?" "oww i don't know, it hurtss" "what do you want me to do Tare?" "oh god I don't know, it just hurts when i move it too much" " here flip onto your stomach" "okay, oww oww" He sat up and started to massage my neck. "ohh god, it's feeling better" "good, I thought it would help" "mmmmmm, can you go a little rougher?" "yeah,"  He pushed his thumbs farther into my shoulders, and neck, "oh my gosh, that feels so good"
              "you think you're okay now baby?" "hang on, let me see if its okay" I sat up and didn't feel any pain at all in my neck. " it's better, thank you so much Henry" "it's no problem babe, you were in pain and it's my job as your boyfriend to help you out." "jeez, why are you so perfect." I reached up and put my hand on either side of his face, and kissed him. He pulled away and we just sat there looking into each others eyes, then at the same time we both said "i love you" which caused us both to laugh, "gosh Henry we've been best friends since the 1st grade, i've had a crush on you since the 4th grade and i've been in love with you since the 7th grade. I love you so much." " Tara Alice Realms, I love you, plain and simple. I've loved you since the day I laid eyes on you in the 1st grade." " it's funny, we've said I love you before but not like this, it just feels different now." "maybe now we know it's actually true love." I reached up and pulled him to me, we didn't kiss just kidn of sat there him holding me, staring into each other's eyes, then he kissed her, and they went to sleep in each other's arms.
